Let me clarify right away: the selection was limited, as there weren't many online stores in the region we moved to. But I found a few options, the cheapest of which was the Midea WMF610. The brand was familiar—I'd been using the same microwave for several years without any complaints. The reviews, mostly positive, didn't scare me off either. So we ordered it right away.

To be honest, I don’t regret it: the washing machine has been working properly for almost a year now.

What attracted me was the fact that very “expensive” performance characteristics were offered for a low price. Most happy owners of the MIDEA WMF610 lamented the fact that the blue advertising sticker couldn't be removed even with gasoline. Apparently, the terrible cleaning results, unpleasant odor, high noise, and a host of other "advantages" went unnoticed.

I also read some rave reviews of LG washing machines, which also didn't align with my actual experience. I've only owned two washing machines. One, a German Bosch, left me with fond memories of white collars and socks, durability, and reliable operation for 20 years. It broke entirely due to our fault; we simply spilled liquid on it. The second, a Russian LG, was far from perfect and died just after its warranty period. Another LG in a neighboring town suffered a similar fate.

When the cycle is complete, the machine doesn't turn off; the lights simply flash. The door latch is flimsy, and the noise level is so loud you can hear it even through the walls. The lingering phenol smell is also unpleasant. I conclude that the glowing reviews can't be trusted. It's best to seek out trusted brands only through friends.
