Reviews of sinks over washing machines
The unusual placement of a sink above a washing machine is a source of considerable controversy. For some, this installation option is the most optimal, while others are categorically opposed to a washing machine under the sink. We've found numerous reviews on this topic, and we present them to you.
Santek Pilot sink

After purchasing a Bosch washing machine, we were faced with the need for a sink. We accidentally discovered a special sink designed for installation over a washing machine. We saw one in the store—the Santek Pilot sink. After a lengthy search, we bought the Santek Pilot sink because we had no other options.
It looks absolutely gorgeous. It's easy to clean with any cleaning product. We bought a new faucet for the sink; the one we had for the sink and bathtub didn't fit because of the height difference. Since the washing machine is of standard height, to be honest, it was inconvenient to wash, but now we’ve gotten used to it. To connect the machine, we used a flat siphon; a small gap was left between the machine and the siphon so that the machine would not touch the siphon during the spin cycle.
Over time, this space was taken over by children's bath toys. Overall, this sink is the ideal solution for installing a standard washing machine in a small bathroom.

Hello everyone! This isn't the first time I've written a review about my bathroom renovation. This time, I'd like to share my impressions of the Santek sink. I'm very happy with it, as when we bought our apartment, we didn't have a sink at all; we installed a standard-size washing machine in its place.
When the old car broke down, I bought compact Candy carIt's almost 10 cm lower. I saved up for a renovation and finally bought a Pilot sink. Unlike a regular sink, its drain goes sideways instead of down. I'm very happy with the purchase. It's a clear space saver, and the sink itself is large and quite comfortable. I highly recommend it!

My family and I live in a Khrushchev-era apartment, which means the bathroom, toilet, and kitchen are very small. The issue of where to place the washing machine in the bathroom became a pressing one, and we spent a long time pondering where to squeeze it in. On the advice of the designers, we settled on installing the machine under the sink. We had to buy both the machine and the sink. We chose a Zanussi washing machine, but choosing a sink proved more challenging. We only found two options: a Santek for $34 and a Seva Mix for $55. Naturally, we bought the Santek sink.
So, the sink is inexpensive and saves space, but that's where the benefits end.The sink quality is below average; chips were discovered during installation. And the sink was installed a little crooked. Another downside is that it's shallow, making it difficult to wash and prone to splashing.
The flat trap, which, by the way, is included, causes water to stagnate in the sink, leading to rapid clogging. The drain fitting quickly rusted, ruining the sink's appearance. In short, don't expect anything extraordinary from cheap plumbing fixtures. Be prepared for some drawbacks.

This excellent Santek sink exceeded all my expectations and looks attractive. Everything in the bathroom fits perfectly. Thanks to its flat drain, it fits easily over the washing machine. This fixture is secured with anchors. I'd give this sink an A+. Water flows smoothly and doesn't spill. It's easy to wash off face masks.

We installed a flat-bottom sink in our bathroom on the advice of friends. Initially, we didn't like the idea of placing the sink over the washing machine, but we decided to give it a try. There weren't any similar models available, so we bought the only one available from Santek. This piece of plumbing is quite heavy and is attached to the wall with anchors, which, in my opinion, is not good. You never know, a child might get stuck and the fixture won't hold. But the main thing is that the sink saves space, and everything else is a matter of habit.

We stumbled upon the "Gonets" water lily sink by chance, and we bought it on a whim. A few years ago, we installed an automatic washing machine in the bathroom. While it's certainly convenient, we had to give up the sink. Everyone in the family, except the cat, had gotten used to living without a sink in the bathroom. Our cat, Muska, had used the sink to go to the bathroom for years, and she'd gotten used to it, but then the sink was removed. Training an adult cat to use a litter box is a real challenge, so after several years of struggle, we gave in and bought the "Gonets" flat water lily sink.
Overall, almost no one except the cat uses this sink, but Muska is happy, and that's the main thing. The downsides of this type of plumbing include its shallow depth and the off-center drain—water drains poorly, and dirt is also difficult to rinse away. On a scale of one to five, the "Gonets" sink gets a solid four.

Two years ago, while surfing the internet, I came across some fascinating articles titled either "sink over washing machine reviews" or "washing machine under sink reviews," or something like that. I liked the idea so much that I decided to implement it in my tiny bathroom, finally freeing the kitchen from the automatic washing machine. Following the advice in the articles I read, I chose the "Gonets" water lily sink, and I was right.
Washing my hands in this sink is a pleasure, and it looks absolutely beautiful. After admiring the new sink for so long, I decided to update all the bathroom fixtures and completely renovate it. So, the new sink has had a positive impact on me; if all my purchases had been as successful, my life would definitely have changed for the better!

I've been using the Gonets Kuvshinka Light sink for a whole year now and I'm almost completely satisfied with it. The sink is quite convenient, wide enough to cover the body of the miniature washing machine that is installed underneath. In any case, no splashes get on the "home helper." It looks beautiful and cleans easily—what more could you want? The only downside is the exorbitant price; perhaps these sinks will become much cheaper over time. I give the Gonets sink top marks.
This review was written on the forum five years ago; since then, “a lot of water has flowed under the bridge” and prices on the market have changed significantly.

I was renovating my bathroom, and my friend Oleg, a plumber, suggested I put the washing machine in there and mount the sink on top. I liked the idea. Oleg also suggested I order the Gonets Light water lily sink. I was surprised that it came with all the necessary fittings, and I liked the look of it, too. Installing it was a joy. It ended up covering the washing machine, but water occasionally spills on it, and I admit, I'm not the most careful person.
The only real downsides I'd point out are the crooked brackets and the asymmetrically positioned drain and overflow holes. These are minor issues for me, so I give the sink a five-star rating and recommend it to everyone!
