To allow for the installation of a special trap so it doesn't interfere with the installation of a washing machine. What types of sinks are we talking about?

Under-sink washing machines

As you might have guessed, a regular front-loading washing machine isn't suitable for under-sink installation. The problem is that a regular machine is too tall and wide. It can be as high as 90 cm, and imagine adding a sink on top, with the gap left behind. Hanging a sink at that height is possible, but how will your family members even reach it?

A special, lower-height washing machine is purchased under the sink. In our recent publicationCandy under-sink washing machine We just reviewed this type of equipment, so we won't repeat ourselves. We'll just say that dedicated under-sink machines are on average 15-20 cm shorter, and their width is about 10 cm smaller. Manufacturers sacrificed drum size to create these machines, which isn't ideal. After all, these machines only have a dry load capacity of up to 4 kg, which is quite small and doesn't meet the needs of a modern family.
