Disassembling the Samsung washing machine door

What should you do if your washing machine's door suddenly stops closing properly? Should you call a service center immediately or try to fix the problem yourself? Disassembling a Samsung washing machine door isn't difficult. So, you can save money on professional repairs by repairing your "home helper" yourself.

We'll explain how to disassemble the device, explain the tools you'll need, and highlight any areas that require special attention.

First, the door needs to be dismantled.

If you open and close your Samsung washing machine's door carelessly, it's very easy to damage the handle. This will make it impossible to use the appliance until the problem is fixed. • Using careful movements, begin to open the hatch, disconnecting the parts in a circle (be careful not to damage the plastic and glass);
• remove the top half of the door and set it aside;

• Use a thin screwdriver to pry up the “finger” that secures the hook, and remove the rod using nippers;
• remove the hook (be sure to remember what position it should be in);
• remove the old handle and put the new element in its place;
• insert the hook back, fix it with your “finger” (when returning the rod to its place, make sure that it enters all the holes);
• check that the mechanism works;
• put the top part of the door back, press it lightly until the latches engage;
• screw in the screw that was removed earlier.

Check again that the handle responds to your touch and the hook disengages from the groove. After this, you can return the hatch to its original position. First, place the hinges on the special holders, then secure them with bolts.

You can disassemble the door of a Samsung washing machine in 10 minutes at home.
