The "Cotton Rapid" cycle has a maximum temperature of 60°C. You can lower it to 30°C or 40°C, or run a cycle in cold water. It's not possible to set the temperature higher than this.

The cycle time is stored in memory, but it may vary depending on the spin speed selected and whether the extra rinse is activated. The more options enabled and the higher the water temperature, the longer the wash will take.

The same detergents can be used with the "Quick Cotton" program as with the standard "cotton" program. The spin cycle can be disabled entirely, if desired. You can also set a delayed start timer, pre-wash, intensive mode, or time-saving mode during the program.

• Down Duvet. The cycle name indicates when to use it. Designed for jackets, bedspreads, pillows, and other down-filled items. The cycle lasts an hour and a half, and the water temperature reaches 40°C.
• Wool. Wash at 40°C for 56 minutes. The drum spins slowly, and the cycle does not include a spin cycle.
• Baby Clothes. This cycle is designed for washing children's clothes. The cycle runs for 100 minutes. The highlight of this cycle is a generous rinse, which completely removes detergent from the fabric fibers.

In addition to the basic washing modes, the washing machine's intelligent system includes various additional options. These are activated using buttons on the control panel. Let's take a look at these functions.

• Bio-Care. This option is useful if the laundry you're loading into the machine has stubborn stains (such as blood, grass, or chocolate).
• Steam treatment. TrueSteam technology combines steam with water, removing harmful microorganisms from fabric fibers. This feature also helps combat unpleasant odors. This mode runs for 20 minutes.
• Hypoallergenic. The purpose of this option is clear from its name. Items are washed in the drum at 60°C. The laundry undergoes several rinsing stages, which completely removes detergent residue from the fabric fibers.
• Night Wash. When this mode is activated, the machine operates virtually silently, so it won't disturb even the lightest sleepers.
• Sportswear. This algorithm is suitable for membrane fabric care.
• Delayed Start. This feature is useful if you need to start the wash cycle later rather than right away. This feature allows you to delay the start of the cycle by several hours, from 3 to 24, depending on the machine model.
• Extra rinse. This option is especially useful when washing children's clothes and clothes for people prone to allergies.

Some LG washing machines have a "My Program" option, allowing the user to program their own washing algorithm into the intelligent system.
