Super 40 cycle in a washing machine

Super 40 cycle in a washing machineUtility bills are constantly rising, and in some European countries, they've long since crossed the line and become extremely expensive. People are trying to conserve as much as possible and choose more energy-efficient appliances. Appliance manufacturers have noticed this trend and have released washing machines that conserve water and electricity.

This is how the "Super 40" wash cycle was introduced in the Beko washing machine – an opportunity to reduce costs without sacrificing high-quality cleaning. Now let's explore the features and characteristics of this resource-saving cycle.

Features of the Super 40

The "Super 40" mode was developed by Beko engineers. While analyzing the washing machine's functionality, engineers noticed the wastefulness of the "Cotton" algorithm. When activated, the machine draws in a large amount of water, then heats it to 60-90 degrees Celsius and maintains the high temperature throughout the cycle. This results in good cleaning results, but wastes too many resources.

In an attempt to improve the cotton program, Super 40 was born. Its parameters:

  • washing class – A;
  • heating temperature – 40 degrees;set the temperature to 40
  • duration – 136 minutes;
  • spin speed – 1000 (can be adjusted as desired).

The "Super 40" mode heats the water in the tank to 40 degrees, which allows you to save on energy costs.

This program works at 40 degrees Celsius, but lasts longer. As a result, the washing quality is similar to that of the Cotton 60 mode, but the energy and water consumption is several times lower. The only downside is the cycle time – you will have to wait more than 2 hours.

Other modes of the Beko machine

The "Super 40" cycle is designed for a more intensive wash when heavily soiled, heavy-duty fabrics need to be cleaned. For other laundry, such as quick or delicate cleaning, we recommend selecting other cycles, depending on the type and color of the fabric. For user convenience, Beko washing machines come with a pre-programmed program set. Simply find the appropriate button and start the cycle.

  • Cotton. High-temperature program for washing heavily soiled items. Key parameters: heating up to 60-90 degrees, maximum spin, and washing time of approximately 120-150 minutes.
  • Cotton Eco. An improved "cotton" cycle that heats the water to 40-70 degrees Celsius. This results in a wash cycle lasting approximately 180 minutes and using less energy.
  • Synthetics. A special cycle for washing synthetic and blended fabrics. The optimal temperature of 40 degrees Celsius prevents fading and deformation of the garment. The machine runs for approximately 2 hours.
  • Dark fabrics. Preserves the original color thanks to a perfectly matched temperature and spin cycle. Time: 102 minutes.
  • Shirt washing. Gentle washing in warm water prevents wrinkles. Problem areas, such as collars, armpits, and cuffs, are completely stain-free within 2 hours.
  • Mix 40. A universal cycle for cleaning different types of fabrics, such as cotton, jersey, and synthetics. Parameters are manually adjusted, and the duration depends on the selected heat level.
  • Mini. This cycle is designed for quick cleaning of small, lightly soiled laundry. The heat is adjustable, and the cycle time is set between 30 and 90 minutes.
  • Hand wash. An automatic alternative to traditional washing. Ideal for delicate fabrics such as silk, lace, and acrylic. The machine heats up to 30 degrees Celsius and runs for 40-55 minutes.hand wash is suitable
  • Baby clothes. Often labeled "Baby Protect." It lasts 160 minutes and features high heat and a thorough rinse. By using a large volume of water, all powder and dirt are washed out of the fabric, which prevents the development of allergic reactions.
  • Wool. A special program for gentle cleaning of woolen items. Cold water, gentle drum rotation, cycle extension, and minimal spin ensure high-quality cleaning, preventing garment deformation and pilling.
  • Down. Used for bulky items with fillings, such as soft toys, pillows, and blankets. Helps remove allergens and dirt.
  • Quick. This function, when activated, reduces the duration of the Cotton and Synthetics cycles. Important: Use this only for lightly soiled clothes and with a half-load.Quick 30 program in the LG washing machine
  • Sportswear. Designed for high-quality cleaning of membrane fabrics and thermal underwear from sweat and other stubborn stains. Cycle time: approximately 110-140 minutes.
  • Savings. The water in the tank does not heat up, significantly reducing utility bills. Suitable for surface cleaning only and with liquid detergents.
  • Refreshing. Designed to eliminate unpleasant odors from fibers. Suitable for quick cleaning of new, lightly soiled, and long-since-stored items. Lasts no more than 17 minutes and only in cold water.
  • Jeans. A special care mode for denim items. The optimal temperature of up to 40 degrees Celsius prevents fading and shrinkage. The cycle lasts approximately 100-105 minutes.
  • Self-cleaning. When activated, the washing machine will begin a two-hour self-cleaning cycle. This involves heating to 60 degrees Celsius and several rinse cycles. It is carried out without linen and requires adding a special cleaner.

In addition to the basic modes, Beko also offers additional options. These include a soak, which allows you to soak items in a soapy solution for enhanced stain removal. An extra rinse and a light iron are also available to protect items from creasing. The Super 40 mode allows you to cost-effectively remove even stubborn stains. If using a resource-saving option all the time is inconvenient, Beko offers faster alternatives.
