Beko dishwasher programs

Beko dishwasher programsThe Turkish brand Beko produces many dishwasher models. They vary in size, design, feature set, and price. While the software may differ, some modes are common across most units. Since the standard programs are virtually identical, we present a standardized list of Beko dishwasher modes. We'll examine the purpose and characteristics of the main algorithms.

The essence of the Beko PMM algorithm

When applied to dishwashers, you might hear the terms "Program," "Mode," or "Cycle." They all refer to the same thing—a specific sequence of actions the machine performs during the dishwashing process. Besides its primary purpose—cleaning dirty dishes—the machine also performs other tasks:

  • keeps the dishes intact;
  • breaks down food stuck to kitchen utensils;PMM Beko effectively washes away dirt
  • uses resources economically;
  • dries the dishes.

Depending on the selected program, the dishwasher's operating algorithm will differ.

Each mode of the Beko dishwasher is recorded in the intelligence by a separate algorithm. To select a program, the user must press the corresponding button on the control panelThe washing result depends largely on how correctly the settings are selected for each specific situation.

Main modes of the Beko PMM

You can find a description of all the dishwasher modes in the manual. If you've lost the user manual, you'll have to figure this out yourself. We'll explain the programs available on most Beko machines.

  • Intensive. This mode heats water to 70°C. The intensive program is ideal for heavily soiled dishes, as well as for cleaning frying pans, saucepans, pots, and baking sheets. The cycle lasts 164 minutes. Water consumption is up to 15 liters (varies depending on the dishwasher model).
  • Quick&Shine. A quick, one-hour program for rinsing and drying moderately soiled cutlery. It uses a temperature of up to 60°C and uses 11 liters of water. This mode is ideal for everyday use.
  • GlassCare. A special program for cleaning fragile dishes. Ideal for washing crystal, porcelain, glassware, and more. Water is heated to a maximum of 40°C. This program is suitable for washing lightly soiled items. The cycle lasts 2 hours.main programs of PMM Beko
  • Eco 50°C. The most economical program, designed specifically for everyday dishes: plates, mugs, forks, and spoons. This program pre-soaks cutlery, washes it, and dries it. Although the cycle lasts almost four hours, it uses only about nine liters of water. During this time, the machine consumes 0.78 kW—the same as the express mode.
  • Accelerated program. The cycle lasts only half an hour. The dishwasher can handle light soiling in 30 minutes. The water in the chamber is heated to 35°C. There is no drying phase.
  • InnerClean. This program is designed for dishwasher maintenance. The manufacturer recommends running it 1-2 times a month to clean the interior of the machine. The cycle should be run with the dishwasher empty. It is recommended to additionally use specialized detergents to remove limescale, scale, and grease deposits.
  • Pre-wash. This mode is designed for pre-soaking dishes. The cycle lasts 15 minutes and uses 3.4 liters of water.

Knowing the Beko dishwasher's program descriptions makes it easy to select the appropriate mode based on the degree of soiling of your dishes. For pots and pans, it's best to run an intensive cycle. For rinsing mugs and plates after dinner, the standard cycle is sufficient.

Additional features of the Beko PMM

In addition to basic washing modes, Beko machines offer a range of additional options. Available features vary depending on the model. These additional features can be used to enhance dishwashing performance.

A description of programs and additional options can be found in the dishwasher instructions.

Let's take a closer look at these features. We'll tell you about the most interesting and frequently found functions on Beko dishwashers.

  1. The door automatically opens 10-20 cm at the end of the cycle. This is a very useful feature, preventing dishes from "suffocating" in the oven if the user is unable to remove the appliance immediately. Furthermore, the slightly open door allows the cookware to cool more quickly.
  2. End of program alert. A simple feature that users really appreciate. An audible signal reminds you to empty the dishwasher.
  3. Dishwasher interior lighting. This feature allows you to load and unload the dishwasher without turning on the kitchen light. The brightness of the lighting is adjustable on some models.Beko dishwasher lighting
  4. Delayed start. A special timer allows you to select a convenient time to start the cycle. The machine will exit standby mode at the set time and begin washing. This feature is especially convenient if you need to activate the wash at night.

The Beko dishwasher line is constantly being updated, and its functionality is constantly being improved. So, it's no surprise that new features will be added tomorrow, making the appliance even more convenient to use.
