Basic modes
It's no wonder manufacturers have provided a wide variety of programs and options. This means you don't have to worry about heating temperatures or spin cycles—you can simply press a button and get on with your day. The machine will do everything itself, based on factory settings. All that's left is to figure out which laundry is best for each program. It's easy if you open the instructions and read the basic settings.
- Cotton. The name says it all: this program is for washing bed linens, clothes, towels, and other items made from dense cotton fabrics. The machine heats the water to 60-90 degrees Celsius, and the cycle lasts between 90-150 minutes.
- Synthetics. This cycle takes into account the tendency of synthetic materials to fade and stretch. To prevent damage to items, the water temperature during washing does not exceed 60 degrees Celsius, and the spin cycle is set to medium. The cycle lasts approximately 110 minutes.
- Delicates. This program replaces traditional hand washing. It's safe for washing even the most delicate and delicate items—silk, wool, cashmere, lace, satin, and organza. The cycle lasts up to an hour, with the drum moving as smoothly and gently as possible. Use only warm or cold water, with temperatures no higher than 40°C (104°F).
- Pre-wash. This cycle allows you to wash your laundry in two stages, removing heavy soiling and unpleasant odors. It lasts 30 minutes, with maximum spin speed and a temperature range of 40-60 degrees Celsius.
- Intensive. Choose this program for laundry with old or set-in stains. Thanks to the powerful drum rotation, heating to 95 degrees Celsius, and two hours of continuous operation, items are completely washed and spun.
- Quick. This is an express wash that refreshes clothes and removes light stains. The cycle lasts no more than 30-40 minutes, and the temperature is automatically set to 30-40 degrees Celsius.
With the Quick Wash program, your clothes will be washed in just 30 minutes.
- Children's. A special program for washing diapers, rompers, undershirts, and other children's clothing. The main advantage of this program is its deep rinse, which allows for complete removal of detergent, eliminating the possibility of allergies. The cycle time is approximately one and a half hours.
The main programs are selected using a rotary knob. On some modern Atlant models, you can adjust the factory settings. For example, you can increase the temperature or decrease the automatically set spin cycle.
Other programs and options
In addition to the basic modes, there are also additional options. The most basic ones include "Spin," which, when activated, spins the laundry in the drum for another 5 minutes. If you want to give your laundry a second rinse, select the 30-minute "Rinse" program.
The Atlant will also delight you with its modern features. These include:
- sport – washing time varies between 60-90 minutes, water is heated to 60 degrees, which allows you to remove sweat odor and other contaminants from clothes;
- Combination wash – a universal mode in which you can wash different types of fabrics at the same time;
- night – characterized by quiet operation;
- biophase – a special mode for removing stains of protein and organic origin (from wine, creams, blood, grass, coffee, tea);
- Easy ironing – thanks to a generous rinse and low spin cycle, items don't crease as the drum rotates, allowing you to iron the fabric more quickly after washing.
Some Atlant washing machines offer special programs and options. To avoid confusion in unfamiliar modes, it is recommended to carefully read the manufacturer's instructions before using the machine. It must decipher all the symbols on the instrument panel and provide all the necessary information.
We install the required program
Once you've deciphered the programs and options, you can begin washing. Select the appropriate mode by turning the dial clockwise, and change the settings using the buttons located nearby. Step by step, the procedure is as follows:
- we load the drum with laundry;
- we slam the door tightly;
- add detergent, powder and rinse aid (optional) to the tray;
- turn the programmer to the selected mode;
- if necessary, adjust the temperature and spin speed
- We turn on the "Start" button.
The program selector turns only clockwise!
Once you've selected a program, the display will show washing information, including the cycle timer. All you have to do is wait for the cycle to finish and remove your items from the drum.

I have the exact same washing machine. I set the express mode by turning the dial, and the screen shows the time for the cotton cycle, for example. I can set the desired cycle after 10 tries, but sometimes it doesn't work. What's the problem?
The rinse cycle doesn't work on the express wash cycle. What could be the problem? Or is it not available on this model (Atlant 35m102)?
Even the extra rinse doesn't turn on, I have to wash only in the combination wash mode.
