Beko washing machine washing modes

Beko washing machine washing modesBeko washing machines are extremely easy to operate. All special programs are labeled, and the control panel is free of confusing symbols and icons. Let's explore the Beko washing machine's preset wash modes, how long they take, and what fabrics they're designed for.

Running programs

The control panel symbols look more stylish and take up less space, but users often get confused and can't determine which mode each symbol corresponds to. To decipher them, they always need the machine's manual. Moreover, the symbols aren't standardized, and each manufacturer creates their own. This makes it difficult to switch from one brand of machine to another.

As for Beko washing machines, their control panel is overflowing with labels. This may make the machine look less stylish and impressive, but it does make it easier for the user to navigate the programs. However, the descriptions of the modes, specifically parameters such as wash time, water temperature, and spin speed, will require further investigation. Before starting a cycle, it's important to understand the purpose of the special programs.

It is important to select a washing mode based on the type of fabric and the intensity of contamination.

Let's present a description of the special programs found on Beko machines.

  • Cotton. Designed for washing cotton linens, the water temperature ranges from 60 to 90 degrees Celsius. Ideal for cleaning heavily soiled durable fabrics. Items are spun at maximum speed. The cycle lasts approximately 2-2.5 hours.running programs
  • Eco-Cotton. This program is designed for washing cotton fabrics with minimal energy consumption. The cycle lasts approximately three hours.
  • Dark Fabrics. This cycle is ideal for synthetic and cotton items in corresponding shades. The water is heated to a maximum of 40°C, preventing fading. Wash time: 1 hour 40 minutes.
  • Synthetics. This program is used for washing synthetic and mixed fabrics. The moderate temperature prevents fading and deformation. The cycle duration is 105-120 minutes.
  • Shirts. Water is heated to a maximum of 40°C, and the spin cycle is low. This program prevents creasing on shirts. Washing takes approximately 2 hours.
  • Mix 40. A general wash cycle that eliminates the need to separate laundry by fabric type. Can be used for both synthetics and cotton. Cycle duration is adjustable.
  • Express. Suitable for lightly soiled items. Water is heated to 40°C, and the spin speed is adjustable. Washing takes about an hour and a half.
  • Down. A special program for cleaning duvets and outerwear with down filling. Can also be used for spinning regular items. Wash time: 60 minutes.
  • Sports. Used for cleaning sportswear. Suitable for removing stubborn stains and combating unpleasant sweat odor. Cycle duration: 100 to 140 minutes.
  • Mini. This mode is activated when loading a small load of lightly soiled laundry into the machine. The washing machine runs for 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the water temperature set by the user.
  • Hand wash. This gentle cycle is designed for delicate fabrics. It prevents deformation and wear. The cycle lasts approximately 40-55 minutes.
  • Wool. This cycle is designed specifically for cleaning woolen items. It prevents felting by slowing the drum rotation. Washing time is approximately 70 minutes.
  • Children's clothing. This cycle requires thorough rinsing. The wash cycle is hot and takes 2 hours and 40 minutes.
  • Self-cleaning. This mode is designed to clean the inside of the washing machine. It runs empty. The program takes 2 hours to complete.
  • Jeans. Ideal for denim items, prevents fading. Cycle time: 100-105 minutes.
  • Refreshing wash. For lightly soiled clothes. Fights unpleasant odors. Machine run time is just 17 minutes.
  • Economy mode. Washes in cool water (20°C), suitable for lightly soiled laundry. It is recommended to replace the powder with a highly dissolving liquid detergent. The cycle duration is 100 minutes.

Cycle durations are approximate; in reality, times may vary across different Beko models. The exact washing duration, water heating temperature, and spin speed when selecting a specific program should be found in the instructions for the washing machine.

Auxiliary programs

Every Beko washing machine has additional options that can be added to the main cycle. These include "Prewash" or "Soak," "Extra Rinse," "Drying," and more. These additional programs are essential for achieving maximum cleaning results.

The pre-wash cycle involves soaking the laundry in a solution of water and detergent. The washing machine drum will occasionally spin for a couple of revolutions and then "freeze" again. This pre-wash softens stubborn stains and ensures their complete removal during the main wash. The pre-wash cycle lasts from 15 to 40 minutes, depending on the Beko machine model.auxiliary programs

The Intensive Rinse feature provides enhanced care for your clothes. This feature removes detergent residue from the fibers of your fabrics. The standard cycle lasts from 10 minutes to half an hour, while the "Extra Rinse" feature can take up to 50 minutes.

A drying mode is available on expensive Beko washing machines. These machines feature an additional heating element and a fan that distributes air throughout the machine. Clothes dry directly in the drum. The user only needs to remove the clean clothes after the set wash time.

Auxiliary programs allow you to provide better care for your laundry and achieve maximum washing results.

Useful algorithms

Today's washing machines are constantly being updated with new features and add-ons, making them more appealing to buyers. Manufacturers strive to fully equip their equipment. Beko washing machines boast the following useful options:

  • Leak protection. Sensors constantly monitor the water level. If the permissible level is exceeded, the unit initiates a drain;
  • Restart. If the power goes out, the user has the option to resume the cycle exactly where the machine stopped;
  • Lock. The control panel is "turned off" during the wash cycle. This protects the appliance from accidental or unnecessary presses;
  • Anti-hair. The system will remove hair from your clothes;
  • A Allows you to use detergent as sparingly as possible;
  • A balance control system. This prevents wrinkles from forming in your laundry.

Many users are unaware of their washing machine's capabilities, using only a couple of standard modes. Therefore, it's important to carefully read the manual to identify useful and essential features.program selection

How to submit a program?

The user manual describes the algorithm for starting the desired washing mode. You can select a program with automatically set parameters (temperature, cycle duration, spin speed) or adjust the conditions at your discretion.

You can take the basic mode as a basis and add the necessary options, change the water heating temperature, and spin speed.

The washing program is selected using the selector knob. The temperature is set by turning the second dial, and the spin cycle is set using the button. Then the "Start" button is pressed. The cycle duration is the sum of the times for all the processes included in it.

    There's only one photo of the machine. The description was copied from another website and doesn't match the model. So, I couldn't find out what I was asking. Specifically, is there a no-spin mode, as the drum spins at a very high speed and doesn't seem to slow down anywhere.
