Washing programs for the Biryusa washing machine

Washing programs for the Biryusa washing machineLearning to use a modern washing machine isn't difficult, as they're specifically designed to be intuitive, even for those who've never washed clothes in an automatic mode before. However, this applies to the overall controls, not specific cycles, the purpose of which often raises questions among beginners. Let's explore the basic washing modes of the Biryusa washing machine to make using your "home assistant" easy and straightforward, even without the official instructions.

Basic algorithms of Biryusa washing machines

Biryusa household appliances are not very expensive, so they are considered to represent the budget segment of the washing machine market. However, this does not prevent the company's devices from having a wide range of useful functions, among which every housewife will find a suitable mode for herself. They can be roughly divided into primary cycles, which include washing, rinsing, and spinning, and secondary cycles, which provide additional useful functions. Let's first carefully examine the standard cycles, gradually moving on to the secondary ones.

  • Intensive. The name of this mode speaks for itself: this program boasts an extended wash duration and high intensity, significantly improving washing results. This cycle is recommended for children's items and heavily soiled clothing.
  • Cotton. Standard cycle for long-lasting cleaning of cotton items. This cycle is best for bedding and everyday clothing.
  • Fast. A special cycle for fast cleaning of lightly soiled items in cold or warm water.
  • Synthetics. This program is very similar to the cotton cycle, except the duration and intensity are slightly reduced to avoid damaging the fabric. Suitable for washing curtains, lace fabrics, synthetics, delicate items, and so on.

When processing knitted items on this program, you should use less detergent to avoid accidentally damaging the shape of the items.

  • Wool. Another special cycle for a specific type of clothing. This cycle is for washing wool and wool-blend items that are machine-cleanable. Before washing, be sure to read the label to determine whether the item can be machine-washed and, if so, at what temperature.
  • Delicate. It features a low intensity wash cycle and a low drum speed, specifically designed to safely handle delicate fabrics that may become deformed during standard cycles.Biryusa sewing machine programs
  • Eco-friendly. Designed for cleaning lightly soiled white or fade-resistant colored cotton items, as well as synthetics. The user can choose the water temperature—up to 40 or 60 degrees Celsius. The Biryusa washing machine uses less energy and water in this mode, saving on utility bills, but the cycle itself takes longer than usual.
  • Bulky Items. Another special mode for unusual items, this time for dense items such as blankets, duvet covers, down jackets, and more. Cleaning is performed at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. Before use, be sure to arrange the items evenly in the drum to prevent them from clumping together during the cycle, which can cause an imbalance in the system.
  • Jeans. As the name suggests, this function is exclusively for denim, which is treated at a temperature of 60 degrees Celsius. For best results, turn the garment inside out first and use liquid gel or capsule detergent instead of powdered detergent, which can be difficult to rinse out of the fabric and leave marks.
  • Baby. This program gently cleans baby clothes and diapers in water heated to 60 degrees Celsius. Experts recommend not washing baby clothes with other items but rather washing them separately.

This cycle is still suitable for washing clothes for allergy sufferers, as baby washing is distinguished by a high-quality rinsing stage that removes all household chemicals from the fabric fibers.

  • Sports. A special cycle for sports shoes and clothing at 40 degrees Celsius. If you need to clean sneakers, trainers, or similar footwear, it's best to wash no more than two pairs at a time.
  • Finish in. This function cleans moderately soiled clothes made from mixed fabrics at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. This mode allows you to select the end time of the cycle.
  • Mixed Fabrics. Finally, a separate cycle for washing lightly soiled mixed fabrics, at the same temperature as the previous two programs.

This set of operating cycles is most often found in Biryusa household appliances, so you can print or save this list in case you don't have a user manual.

Typical set of functions

Now that we've covered the main washing modes, let's learn about the secondary functions that allow you to better manage your washing machine. Most of the names should be familiar to everyone, because such a set can be found in any “home assistant”. There are few of them and it is better to remember them.

  • Rinse + Spin. In this case, the manufacturer combined two standard functions needed for almost every wash cycle. After activating this mode separately, the washing machine will fill with water, thoroughly rinse the laundry, and then spin it. This option doesn't include washing, so there's no need for household chemicals.
  • Rinsing. Same as the previous step, but there's no spinning step. The washing machine will simply fill with water, process the clothes, and then immediately drain all the used liquid into the drain. That's why the clothes will remain wet after use and will need to be thoroughly dried.Biryusa WM-ME508 04
  • Spin. A similar mode, but without rinsing. Activating this function initiates intensive drum rotation, removing almost all moisture from laundry. You can adjust the drum speed before starting.
  • Prewash. This soaking is necessary for clothes with stubborn stains and other heavy soiling that a regular wash cycle might not be able to remove.
  • Extra Rinse. A special feature for those who need to remove 100% of detergent residue from their clothes, which can be especially helpful for families with children and those with allergies. In addition to baby items, this program can also be used for thicker items, such as blankets and winter jackets.
  • Drum cleaning. Last but not least, this cycle thoroughly cleans and sterilizes the drum of your automatic washing machine. This option should not be used for washing, as the extremely high temperature is only suitable for cleaning the internal components of the appliance. For best results, use a special household cleaning product designed for washing machines.

These washing machine features are used less frequently than standard cycles, but it is still important to know about them.

How is the machine's control panel arranged?

Before starting the washing process for the first time, it is advisable to carefully inspect the washing machine control panel. It is very easy to understand, because it consists only of a programmer and a small number of buttons. Let's name the elements of this control panel.

  • Program switching knob for selecting the washing mode.
  • A button to activate the pre-wash stage to remove even the most stubborn stains.
  • A button to activate an extra rinse to remove detergent residue from clothes.
  • A button to disable the spin stage is necessary for processing clothes made from delicate fabrics that cannot be spun even at low drum speeds.

If you turn off the spin cycle, you will have to dry the items by hand.

  • The door lock indicator is located above the spin stop button. The light comes on after the door lock is activated immediately after the program starts.Biryusa washing machine panel
  • A button for activating and pausing the wash cycle, necessary either to start the cycle or to pause, for example, to remove foreign objects from pockets or to add or remove clothes from the drum. The pause button can also be used to soak items: activate the wash cycle, then press the pause button after 10 minutes. Then, simply wait as long as necessary, and then press the same button again to resume the cycle. This can significantly improve the cleaning efficiency of heavily soiled items.
  • The child lock indicator is located above the start and pause button. This feature is essential if you're concerned about children accidentally interfering with your "home assistant" and causing problems. To activate the lock, press and hold the extra rinse and spin stop buttons for three seconds. When you hear a beep and see the indicator light illuminate, the lock is installed. It can be removed in the same way.

Finally, there's a feature for disabling the washing machine's system sounds, which doesn't have a separate indicator or button. To disable the sounds, press and hold the pre-wash button for about 3 seconds. You can turn the system sounds back on in the same way.

As you can see, the Biryusa washing machine's dashboard is also very easy to navigate. Take advantage of all the additional features of this appliance, and you and your family will always be delighted with your washing results.
