Vestel washing machine programs

Vestel washing machine programsModern washing machines are so easy to use, sometimes you don't even need to carefully study the user manual to get started. This is because most washing machines today are manufactured using the same template, have similar control panels, and even have largely identical functions. However, the wash modes of a Vestel washing machine may differ slightly from those of other "home helpers," so we'll focus on this particular machine today.

The more we know about household appliances, the more effectively we can use them, so it is important to study the list of programs and additional functions. In a modern machine, the number of modes usually exceeds two digits, and each of them can be suitable for one type of fabric and be destructive for another. The user doesn't need to make any additional settings; they simply select a mode using a dedicated button or a programmer. Vestel appliances generally offer the following operating cycles:

  • Cotton. This standard program is suitable for cotton, cotton, and linen items, such as bed linen, pajamas, shirts, and towels. In this mode, the machine heats the water to 60-90 degrees Celsius, and the drum accelerates to maximum speed during the spin cycle. Wash time ranges from 90 to 150 minutes.
  • Synthetics. Another classic cycle designed for synthetic and blended fabrics, it allows you to safely wash items made from artificial fibers. The water temperature reaches 60 degrees Celsius, the drum also spins to maximum speed during the spin cycle, and the wash time ranges from 60 to 120 minutes.Vestel's main SM programs
  • Pre-wash. This is chosen if there are old, set-in stains on clothing, so the item should be pre-soaked in warm water with laundry detergent. This program first allows the detergent to penetrate deeper into the fabric, then washes the item for about an hour, and then automatically activates the main wash.

Don't forget to add household chemicals to both detergent compartments if you plan to use a pre-wash.

  • Delicate wash. This program is specifically designed for the most delicate and fine fabrics, such as silk, lace, organza, and satin. In this cycle, the machine will spin the drum slowly, use more water, and keep the temperature below 30 degrees Celsius. The cycle lasts approximately one hour.
  • Intensive Wash. This feature is designed for the dirtiest items that a standard cycle can't handle. This program heats the water to 95 degrees Celsius, spins the drum rapidly, and lasts for approximately 120 minutes, removing even the most stubborn stains and dirt. The most important thing is to wash only clothes made of dense fabric that can withstand high temperatures and strong friction in this way.
  • Quick Wash. One of the lightest cycles, it refreshes clothes rather than cleans them. It lasts from 15 to 45 minutes and uses water temperatures no higher than 40 degrees Celsius.
  • Baby wash. Designed for children's items, it's washed in very hot water, with a generous rinse and vigorous drum rotation. Remarkably, this cycle not only removes all stains from clothes but also disinfects them.

Due to the thorough disinfection, the baby wash cycle is also suitable for cleaning the laundry of allergy sufferers who are intolerant to household chemicals.

  • Sport. This program is designed for washing sportswear, thermal underwear, spandex, stretch, and membrane fabrics. This program cleans the fabric, removes sweat odor, and protects the special sports material. This program is also suitable for washing sneakers, pre-packed in a separate shoe bag.
  • Night Wash. This unique mode is distinguished by its quietness, achieved by the absence of system sounds and the inclusion of a silent spin cycle.
  • Biophase. This cycle removes all organic stains. The most important thing in this mode is to remember to add special enzyme-based detergents.
  • Easy ironing. Allows you to spend less time ironing, or no time at all. The drum rotates so smoothly and the spin cycle is so slow that clothes are barely wrinkled and remain slightly damp, resulting in virtually no creasing.
  • Rinse. If you need an additional rinse to remove dirt or household chemical residue, you can run it separately.
  • Spin. Same as the previous mode – if you need an additional 5 minutes of spin, you need to enable this option.

This concludes the basic list of modes. Some Vestel models may have other functions, but this is the most common set found in washing machines.

Instructions for use of Vestel SM

Every household appliance comes with a user manual, which is worth reading. It explains the icons on the washing machine's control panel, describes its operating modes, and lists the operating instructions. Follow them all to ensure long-lasting service.Vestel washing machine modes

In addition to following the rules, it is very important to correctly activate the washing machine for the first time. Under no circumstances should you try to wash dirty items in it right away; instead, you should run it without any items. Select any high-temperature setting, add household cleaning products to the dispenser, and run the cycle. This will not only test the machine but also remove any factory grease, dirt, and dust. Once the test wash is complete, you can run the full cycle. What should you do?

  • Add dirty clothes to the drum, making sure not to exceed the maximum weight limit stated in the instructions.
  • Close the machine door until it clicks.
  • Add detergent to the special compartment.
  • Press the power button.
  • Select the required program.
  • Adjust the settings if necessary.
  • Start work by pressing the "Start" key.

At this point, your work is complete; the machine will handle the rest of the work itself. It will fill the drum with water, heat it, wash and rinse the items, then spin and drain the water. Once the cycle is complete, the washing machine will beep, after which you only need to wait a few minutes for the door to unlock.
