Beko tumble dryer programs
Home appliances from this Turkish brand are distinguished by high build quality, sophisticated software, reliability, and affordable prices. That's why many users choose equipment from this manufacturer. Let's explore the different modes available in a Beko dryer. We'll explain how to activate this "home assistant" and what additional features its intelligent functionality offers.
Main algorithms
Beko dryers have quite a lot of functions in their memory. By using With different programs, you can select the optimal drying parameters for any type of fabric and clothingDepending on the dryer model, the range of modes and options will vary, but the classic algorithms will remain the same.
Before using the dryer, read the instructions for the dryer - it contains a description of all the programs available in the device's memory.
It's crucial to understand the purpose of each drying mode. This will help you properly care for your clothes, preventing damage and deformation. Let's explore the algorithms found on dryers from this Turkish brand, using the Beko DF7412GA model as an example.
- Cotton Iron Dry. This cycle is designed for cotton fabrics that will be ironed. The machine leaves the garment slightly damp to make ironing easier. This cycle is ideal for shirts, t-shirts, curtains, and tablecloths. The cycle duration is 150 minutes.
- Cotton Eco. This mode is also suitable for drying cotton items such as T-shirts, trousers, dresses, bedding, underwear, and children's clothing. The fabric is completely dry, and the items can be stored immediately. Program duration: 189 minutes.
- Cotton: Cupboard Dry. This cycle is similar to the previous one, but is used for heavier cotton items (jeans, trousers, jackets). The cycle lasts 204 minutes.
- Cotton Extra Dry. This cycle is designed for heavy cotton fabrics. Suitable for terry towels and robes. Items can be placed directly in the closet without ironing. The cycle lasts 214 minutes.
- Refresh Cycle. When activated, this cycle provides 10 minutes of ventilation without hot air. This program allows you to air out stale cotton and linen items to eliminate unpleasant odors. This mode is not suitable for full drying.

- Gentle/Shirts. This drying algorithm is designed for delicate fabrics. The temperature setting is medium. The drum rotates more gently and smoothly, preventing wrinkles. The cycle duration is 50 minutes.
- Jeans. A special care routine for heavy denim. Drying time: 140 minutes.
- Sportswear. This program is recommended for drying synthetics, cotton, and blended fabrics. This mode is also suitable for waterproof clothing. It is recommended to turn items inside out before loading them into the drum. The cycle lasts 2 hours and 10 minutes.
- Mix/Daily. This cycle is suitable for drying cotton and synthetic items. Due to its relaxed laundry sorting requirements (mixed fabrics can be loaded into the drum), it's ideal for everyday use. The cycle lasts 135 minutes.
- Anti-allergy. A fairly long cycle lasting 3 hours and 15 minutes. Suitable for drying items requiring high temperatures (baby clothes, towels, bedding, etc.). The process removes up to 99% of bacteria and allergens from the fabric.

- Down. This cycle is designed for items with down filling. Jackets and other garments should be turned inside out before loading. The cycle lasts 100 minutes.
- Express. A fast algorithm. Load no more than 0.5-1 kg of laundry into the drying drum. Items will be slightly damp for ironing. The cycle lasts for half an hour.
For the "Cotton Iron Dry" and "Cotton Cupboard Dry" modes, there is an option to half-load the drum.
With a half-load, the cycle will take less time. Programs will run for 55 and 75 minutes, instead of the full 150 and 189 minutes. This is very convenient if you have a small load of laundry—you won't have to run the full cycle.
The user can set the drying time by selecting the "Program Time" mode. The timer can be set from 10 to 160 minutes. When this mode is selected, the machine will not adjust the drying time based on the moisture level of the laundry.
Beko tumble dryers also feature energy-saving programs. When activated, the drum spins at a lower speed than in the standard mode. Residual moisture in laundry will range from 40 to 60 percent, depending on the selected program.
Such a variety of programs in Beko dryers makes it possible to load almost any type of clothing into the drum. It is important to select an algorithm based on the type of fabric. The optimal temperature regime will help preserve the brightness, shape and properties of things, as well as make them soft.
Launching the algorithm, changing it, blocking it from children
Beko dryers are intuitive to operate. If you have any trouble starting the machine or selecting a program, you can always refer to the manual. It explains all the details.
To start drying, you need to:
- plug the machine's power cord into the socket;
- press the "On" button;
- select the desired mode using the rotary switch;
- Press the Start/Standby button to activate the cycle.
The user still has the option to change the selected algorithm after the cycle has started. To do this:
- pause the cycle using the Start/Standby button;
- turn the selector to the desired mode;
- Press the Start button to activate the cycle.

Beko dryers feature a child lock feature. This prevents interruptions to the dryer's operation due to pressing buttons on the dashboard. When the child lock feature is activated, all buttons on the dryer body are locked except for the On/Off button.
To activate the child lock, press the drying level and sound alert buttons simultaneously. Hold them down for 3 seconds. Deactivating the feature is done in the same way.
Some Beko models feature a timer that allows you to delay the start of the cycle for a specific amount of time. The delay is set using a dedicated button on the control panel. Next, press "Start/Standby," and a countdown will appear on the display.
If you simply want to cancel the selected mode, press the "On/Off" button. The machine will stop. All you need to do now is unplug the power cord and empty the drum.
