Candy tumble dryer programs

Candy tumble dryer modesCandy dryers, assembled in recent years, offer excellent value for money. They are inexpensive compared to other brands, yet their functionality and build quality are top-notch.

Before using the appliance, be sure to read the instructions. The user manual describes all Candy dryer modes, installation instructions, and connection to utilities. It also includes loading recommendations and describes all additional functions programmed into the intelligent system.

Candy dryer mode set

All Candy SMs are equipped with universal programs. The mode is selected depending on the type of fabric and type of clothing. Different models have their own set of algorithms, but the classic work cycles are always the same.

The range of modes and additional functions will vary depending on the model of the Candy dryer.

All drying modes are described in the equipment's manual. Therefore, it's best to read the user manual before using the machine. We'll explain the algorithms found in most Candy dryers.

  • Eco-Cotton. This cycle is designed for cotton and linen items. After drying, clothes do not need ironing and can be stored immediately. The cycle duration will depend on the initial moisture level of the items and the load size. This cycle is considered the most energy-efficient. A full drum load is allowed in this mode.
  • White Cotton. This setting is ideal for drying cotton items, towels, sheets, napkins, and similar items.Label on clothing
  • Mix and Dry. This cycle is designed for drying items made from different fabrics in a single cycle. Cotton, synthetics, and linen can be mixed in the drum. The garments are treated with a medium-temperature, medium-intensity airflow. The load is half full in this cycle.
  • Synthetics. This cycle is designed for synthetic fabrics. The cycle duration will depend on the initial moisture level of the laundry, the load size, and the cleanliness of the dryer filters.
  • Easy Iron. This program is designed for drying blended fabrics while minimizing wrinkles. At the end of the cycle, items will be slightly damp, ready for ironing. It is recommended to shake each item before loading it into the drum.
  • Shirts. A special drying algorithm for men's shirts and women's blouses, which can be hung on hangers and stored away immediately after the cycle is complete. The special drum motion prevents tangling, preventing creasing.Candy tumble dryer programs
  • Colored fabrics. Candy dryers have separate drying modes for dark and colored clothes. The drum can accommodate cotton, synthetic, and blended fabrics.
  • Children's clothing. A separate cycle for children's clothing. Drying occurs at a high temperature, which removes up to 99% of bacteria and allergens from the fabric. The cycle duration is 150 minutes.
  • Jeans. An algorithm designed to ensure even drying of denim items. It is recommended to turn items inside out before loading them into the drum.
  • Sports. This program is for sportswear and other polyester items that don't require ironing. Drying is performed at low to medium temperatures. The drum rotates gently to prevent shrinkage and damage to the elastic fibers.
  • Wool. This cycle can be used to dry up to 1 kg of woolen items. The gentle cycle doesn't damage the garments, but rather leaves them soft. Drying times may vary depending on the size and thickness of the garments loaded.washing a woolen blanket
  • Quick 45 min. A versatile express program that dries clothes quickly. To achieve the desired results, load only 1 kilogram of laundry into the drum.
  • Crease-Free. A warm cycle that helps remove wrinkles and creases from clothes in just 12 minutes.
  • Refresh. This program gently refreshes clothes that haven't been worn in a while. It also removes unpleasant odors. The cycle lasts 20 minutes and smooths out wrinkles as a bonus.

Candy tumble dryers have a range of programs to suit any drying needs for textiles of various types and colors.

Candy machines have "Drying Select" buttons on their control panels. These allow you to adjust the dryness level of your laundry. You must press the appropriate button no later than 3 minutes after the cycle starts.

You can choose one of four dryness levels:

  • “Ready for ironing” – clothes will remain slightly damp, making them easier to iron later;
  • “Hanger Drying” – the laundry will be ready to be hung on hangers;
  • “Drying in the closet” – items can be immediately put away in the wardrobe;
  • "Super Drying" – for completely dry items.

Thus, the programming options in Candy dryers are truly diverse. You can select the optimal setting for any item, from delicate wool to easy-to-clean cotton. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's recommendations to ensure thoroughly dried clothes.

Selecting, activating and delaying the start of a mode

First-time users of a dryer may experience difficulties starting it, selecting the right mode, and enabling additional features. In reality, turning on the appliance is quite simple; simply refer to the instructions again. First, you need to level the dryer and connect it to a drain (if required).

Next, items are loaded into the machine, after which the power cord is plugged into the socket. The drying program is selected by turning the switch knob. To cancel the set cycle settings, the selector must be moved to the OFF position.

If the drying settings are completely satisfactory, press the "Start/Pause" button. The machine's display will show the cycle time.using a Candy tumble dryer

If you need to delay the drying process, use the "Delay Start" button. Delays can be set for periods ranging from 1 to 24 hours, depending on the Candy machine model. The duration of the selected delay will be displayed on the screen.

After starting the cycle, the user has 3 minutes to convert the mode from automatic to programmable. This means that during this time, the factory settings can be adjusted using additional functions. For example, using the buttons, you can set the drying intensity, speed up the program, or activate the "Anti-crease" option.

If more than three minutes have passed since the cycle was activated, you won't be able to adjust the settings. You can only stop the current program and restart the dryer, enabling the desired additional options.
