  2. Press and hold the keys until the frozen program resets.

Never unplug the dishwasher if it freezes, as the appliance stores the last used program in its memory, and such a restart will not only not help, but can also damage the electronic module of the device.

It's that simple, in just two steps you can reset the program of your Electrolux dishwasher. To prevent your appliance from freezing in the future, always check that the detergent dispenser and salt tank are full.

Electrolux dishwasher error codes

If you've successfully reset the program, but the dishwasher freezes again during activation and displays an error code, the problem isn't a temporary glitch, but a serious malfunction. To fix it yourself or call a technician, you first need to determine what exactly is wrong. For this purpose, our engineers have developed a variety of error codes, which we'll decipher now.

  • i10. 1 blink of the indicator light. The machine didn't receive enough water in time, or the liquid didn't start to flow at all.
  • i20. 2 blinks. Water after washing has not drained partially or completely; there is no empty tank message, as the water level sensor usually indicates.
  • i30. 3 blinks. Indicates a liquid leak or water in the dishwasher tray.
  • i50. 5 blinks. Failure of the triac, which is installed on the dishwasher's ECU, problems with the pump.
  • i60. 6 blinks. The water is either not heating or overheating. This can be caused by a damaged heating element, a broken wiring harness leading to the water heating element, a faulty temperature sensor, a faulty ECU, a problem with the circulation pump, or insufficient water.
  • i70. 7 blinks. The temperature sensor is damaged; its resistance deviated from the normal value during testing.
  • i80. 8 blinks. A program error in the ECU memory, possibly caused by a damaged EEPROM chip.
  • i90. 9 blinks. The ECU has stopped working, so it's impossible to start any household appliances.
  • iA0. 10 blinks. The spray arms have stopped rotating. This could be due to improperly loaded dishes or a power surge that has triggered the spray arms.Electrolux error code
  • iB0. 11 blinks. The water turbidity sensor is faulty. The control unit continuously receives a message that the dishes are still not washed.
  • iC0. 12 blinks. The dishwasher's ECU isn't responding to messages from the dishwasher's control panel. This is either due to damage to the unit or a lack of communication with the ECU board.
  • iD0. 13 blinks. The tachogenerator does not send a message indicating the rotor has started rotating after the circulation pump starts. In this case, check for a faulty pump, tachogenerator, or tachosensor circuit.
  • IF0. 14 blinks. The dishwasher didn't fill with water within the allotted time, but continued to operate as if everything was normal. The code disappears from the control panel after the wash cycle is complete.

These are the most common errors that you need to know in order to quickly fix the problem or call a service center specialist.
