Can you wash curtains with hooks in the washing machine?

Viscose and silk curtains with hooks should be washed on a gentle cycle at low temperatures. Add fabric softener to the fabric's fabric compartment to maintain the airiness and lightness of the material. You can't wring out such curtains, so we turn off the spin cycle completely. Linen curtains

Curtains made of natural linen and cotton are machine washable, but only on a delicates cycle and at a low temperature. Pre-soaking is not required, as the linen is treated with preservatives during production.

Polyester curtains

When washing any type of curtain with hooks, pay attention to the material of the fasteners themselves. Some fasteners should never be placed in the washing machine, as they may become damaged. Such fastener materials include clips:

• made of metal;
• metal-plastic;
• chrome plated.

Important! It's better to take the time to remove all metal fasteners than to replace them completely later.
