The model is quite decent, but two things are concerning. First, this washing machine is made in Russia, which says a lot. Second, it's made from rather low-quality parts and materials. Statistics show that such washing machines last an average of 3-5 years before problems begin, but the choice is yours, of course. You might get lucky.

Candy GC41072D-07. This budget washing machine is from a completely different manufacturer, but with similar specifications. Even the number of programs and features are the same. The only differences are in the quality of the components and the price—the quality is slightly better, but the price is slightly higher. And of course, this model has a 7 kg drum capacity, plus electronic controls. The average price is $302, and it's assembled in Russia.

Beko WKB51031PTMA. This budget washing machine is worth a closer look. The price—$253—is enticing at first glance. And yet, this washing machine has a fairly large display and electronic controls. The pleasant surprises don't end there. This automatic washing machine has 11 washing programs, including hand wash, baby clothes, soak, wool, and many other popular and in-demand options.

It's worth noting that this machine also has some truly unique features. For example, pet hair removal. Even expensive washing machines don't offer this feature, and this budget machine does. The quality of the parts and assembly is quite high, even despite the fact that this model is made in Russia, but there are still some downsides. The main drawback is the drum load, only 5 kg, which is not enough by modern standards, and the spin speed barely reaches 1000 rpm, which is also not very good, and the laundry comes out quite damp.

Please note! The manufacturer claims that the residual moisture content of the Beko WKB51031PTMA laundry after spinning is 63%, but our tests showed 65 and even 70%, which is quite high.

Middle class

Now let's take a quick look at mid-range washing machine models. This range covers a fairly wide price range with a large number of washing machine models offering a variety of features.

LG F12U2HDN0. This excellent automatic washing machine is a shining example of mid-range technology at a reasonable price of $454. This machine boasts numerous advantages, including:

2. inverter motor with direct drive (indestructible if without manufacturing defects);

The DAEWOO DWD-UD2412K is a rather interesting Korean-made automatic washing machine. It's impressive both in terms of design and technology. The DAEWOO DWD-UD2412K has a load capacity of up to 12 kg. This isn't a manufacturer-inflated load figure, which deviates by a few kilograms from the actual load; it's a real, tested load. It features 9 wash programs, a high-speed spin cycle, a stainless steel drum, smart controls, a half-load function, and more.

The appearance of the washing machine can be considered unique:

• the front wall is decorated with a unique painting;
• the display and control panel are not located on the front wall as in all machines, but on top;
• The streamlined body, without sharp corners or straight lines, gives the machine a soft outline and creates the feeling that this machine is simply made for a cozy bathroom.

And how much does this miracle cost? $700, $800, maybe $900? No, just $545, and believe me, you won't regret buying this car. It's a great purchase for a large family.

Bosch WAT28440OE. Fans of German quality might appreciate the Bosch WAT28440OE automatic washing machine. It is indeed made from German parts, but it was assembled in Russia, and that is a real fly in the ointment. What's also concerning is that the price of this model is around $757, which is quite expensive for a device assembled in Russia. Consumers in their reviews say, "...if it had been assembled in Germany, I would have bought it for that price, but as it is, sorry..."

Overall, the model has quite a few advantages: a 9 kg load capacity, a delayed start, electronic controls, a special program for washing pillows, a child safety lock, foam control, and many other useful features. But then again, who's stopping us from buying a Korean-made, time-tested washing machine with even more features for the same price? The choice is yours!

Elite equipment

If you're a fan of high-end appliances and have the budget to buy one, this section of this article might be of interest. The market offers plenty of high-end washing machines, but even large shopping centers have been reluctant to offer them lately due to low demand. Here are a few examples of high-end washing machine models.

Electrolux EWW51697. A luxury washing machine from Italy. Its ergonomic design, large drum capacity of up to 9 kg, drying, and spin speeds up to 1600 rpm are just a few of its advantages. There are only 10 washing programs, but they are selected in such a way that you will definitely use each program. Some machines have 16-20 programs, half of which are not in demand, but the Electrolux EWW51697 does not have this.

Let's be fair and point out this model's shortcomings. Firstly, the metal casing is quite thin, and in some places you can easily dent it with your finger. Secondly, the machine has a rather low-quality plastic tub, which is unacceptable for a high-end washing machine. The overall quality of the materials leaves much to be desired, which will inevitably impact its operation. And how much does this marvel cost? The average price is around $1,550.
