Once the brushes have been checked, you'll need to carefully examine the stator winding, which you should also do with a multimeter. Use a tester and carefully inspect each section of the wiring to try to locate any damage. Additionally, it's always worth paying attention to the burning smell that sometimes appears near the electric motor.

Winding damage usually becomes noticeable when the motor loses power and can't provide a high-quality spin at high speeds. If this is what's happened to your washer, don't even try to repair the winding; it's much easier and more economical to buy a new motor.

If you want your appliance to serve you for decades, it's important not only to follow all operating instructions but also to closely monitor its operation. The sooner you detect and correct the problem, the less risk there will be to your clothes and the washing machine. When your "home helper" fails to spin, it's time to thoroughly investigate the problem and either fix it at home or call a service technician.
