How to unlock a Bosch washing machine

1. On the Bosch Logixx 8, open the hatch door and press the "Options" button marked with a left arrow. After pressing the button, hold it until the machine beeps and the lock is released.
2. On Bosch maxx 5 you need to press the start/pause button and hold it for about 6-8 seconds. If the “Key” icon disappears from the display, the lock has been removed.
3. On the Bosch WAS 20443, this lock is released in a similar manner. Press and hold the start/pause button for about 8 seconds. The lock will be released after a beep.

Unlocking after error code

A washing machine can freeze up completely not only due to an incorrectly released child lock, but also due to an error that hasn't been reset. Let's say your Bosch washing machine has generated an error code. The problem has been identified and fixed, but the error still persists. Turning the machine off and on doesn't help.
