LG F80B8LD0 Washing Machine – Customer Reviews

LG F80B8LD0 reviewsSearching for a simple washing machine, a "home helper" without unnecessary features, a potential buyer can spend hours without finding anything suitable. The problem with most modern machines is that they're loaded with a bunch of bells and whistles that the user essentially doesn't need, yet they're still paying for because they're included in the overall price. The LG F80B8LD0 washing machine is designed for those who don't want to overspend.

This model is simple on one hand, yet quite reliable on the other, as it lacks any complex electronics, yet has everything you need. It's not exactly cheap; its price is more reasonable for most people. But on the other hand, you're buying LG appliances, which are renowned for their high quality. Well, let's see what owners think of these machines, and then we'll draw some conclusions.

Positive opinions

Six months ago, I luckily stumbled upon a great sale at a home appliance hypermarket, where I bought an LG F80B8LD0 washing machine with a 35% discount. During the spin cycle, the machine is a little noisier, but behind a closed bathroom door it's almost inaudible, at least it doesn't interfere with sleep. The load capacity is only 5 kg, which is quite sufficient for me. It washes quickly and efficiently, uses little water, and the music at the end of the wash cycle is clearly audible, making it impossible to miss.

Although the machine is simple, the choice of programs is truly rich.

I first saw this simple and inexpensive washing machine at a friend's place. I loved it, especially since I was considering buying an automatic machine but hadn't quite decided. So, my friend and I went to the store and bought the exact same model for myself. It's nothing special, of course, but that's a big plus for me. The machine washes, rinses, and spins perfectly, I can't fault it. The frame is sturdy, the detergent drawer is perfect—I can even take it out and rinse out any remaining detergent. I'm very happy with my purchase!

We didn't have enough money to properly outfit the new kitchen with appliances. I was very upset about this, but what could we do? My husband and I were mired in debt. We wanted to buyBosch SMV47L10RU dishwasher I was thinking about a washing machine of the same brand (we're planning on having one in the kitchen), but I was almost out of money, so I decided against buying a dishwasher. I couldn't live without a washing machine, so I settled on an inexpensive LG F80B8LD0. I figured this machine would last a couple of years, and then I'd get some cash.

Imagine my surprise when I started washing clothes on this machine. And the surprise was very pleasant.

  • The machine turned out to be quite quiet in operation, although friends were afraid that LG ones were very noisy.
  • It is narrow and fits under the tabletop without any problems, both in height and depth.
  • It washes and spins clothes just as well as any expensive AEG. I checked this because my mom has an AEG.
  • It holds enough laundry, at least for now, and the five-kilogram load doesn’t bother me.

It turns out that a cheap machine doesn't necessarily mean a bad one. I've recently developed a new respect for the LG brand and am even considering buying an LG TV. I recommend the LG F80B8LD0 to everyone!

I've dealt with all sorts of washing machines. I've had Indesit, Candy, and Samsung automatics, but they always had some kind of problem, and they either ended up in the trash or were sold. Four months ago, I got an LG F80B8LD0, and this time it's truly amazing. No excessive vibration or noise, and the machine stays in place during the spin cycle. It rinses and spins clothes incredibly well, even though its maximum spin speed is 800 rpm, like older machines.

The washing machine's appearance is good, and the materials it's made of inspire confidence. The interior of the drum is free of any defects that could damage clothes. Overall, the machine is almost perfect, and I was starting to get disillusioned with this kind of machine.

Negative opinions

This machine has a terribly poor spin cycle, and it's no surprise that it's impossible to spin clothes properly at 800 rpm. I read in reviews that this machine doesn't bounce and washes well. I can't refute these arguments because they're true, but for some reason people haven't mentioned the spin cycle. If I could turn back time, I wouldn't have bought the LG F80B8LD0.

The data sheet says the residual moisture content during spinning is 53%, but the clothes are actually wet after spinning. I think I'd be better off wringing them out by hand.

I'd love to rip LG's engineers' hands off for making this kind of equipment. Everyone says it's reliable, trouble-free, washes great, and blah, blah, blah. In reality, the machine broke down after three weeks. It simply won't turn on, and the service center technicians can't give me any clear answers. I don't know what to do now; I've screwed up so badly with this machine.

The LG F80B8LD0 feels like a half-assed machine. Something's wrong with it; no matter which program you choose, none of them work properly. Short programs leave clothes dirty, while long ones clean decently, but waiting three hours is just too much. Don't buy this washing machine.

Well, after carefully studying people's opinions about this washing machine, we can easily draw the right conclusions. We hope this information is helpful. Good luck!
