Hansa Washing Machine Error Codes

Hansa washing machinesIn this post, we will discuss errors in washing machines from the manufacturer "Hansa".

And also how they are displayed.

And so, let's move straight to the topic.

Errors of PC model cars

Codes Causes of the malfunction and what happens next Why did the error occur?
E01 Error code E01. There is no notification that the door locking device (HLD) is turned on. The reasons that caused this malfunction:

  • The hatch is not locked.
  • There is damage to the wiring or poor contact from the lock to the controller.
  • The lock is broken.
E02 Error E02 has occurred. Water is filling the washing machine too slowly or is not filling at all. What caused the error?

  • Very weak water pressure in the pipes.
  • The inlet hose is clogged or pinched. The pipes or other parts of the inlet system are clogged.
  • The water tap may be turned off.
E03 The display shows error E03. The water drains too slowly from the washing machine's drum. Or it doesn't drain at all. Why did the error occur?

  • The drain hose is pinched or clogged.
  • Clogged pipes in the washing machine.
  • The drain pump is faulty or clogged.
  • The drain pump filter is clogged.
E04 An error code E04 has appeared. The level sensor informs that the washing machine tank is filled with water to the maximum. Why did the malfunction occur?

  • The fill valve is stuck open.
  • The level sensor (level relay) is broken.
  • During washing, the water pressure in the pipes suddenly increased significantly.
E05 The E05 message appears. The washing machine's water tank is filling too slowly. Or the tank is not filling (it's taking more than 10 minutes to fill). Let's look into the reasons:

  • The water supply hose is clogged or pinched.
  • Weak water pressure in the water supply.
  • The level relay is broken.
  • The fill valve has become unusable.
  • The wires between the pressure switch and the fill valve could be damaged or the controller could be broken.
E06 Error E06 has occurred. Water is draining too slowly or is not draining at all (waiting for drain for more than 10 minutes).
  • The water drain hose is clogged.
  • The drain pump is jammed or has become unusable.
  • The level sensor is malfunctioning or its wires are damaged.
E07 There was a leak. Water appeared in the washing machine's tray. Aquastop was activated.
  • The Aquastop sensor may have failed.
  • Or there was a water leak caused by a breach in the integrity of the tank or various pipes.
E08 Violation of electrical network parameters It is necessary to check the electrical network parameters.
E09 The washing machine produced too much foam during the spin cycle. Most likely, too much detergent was used, or a detergent not intended for machine washing was used.
E11 The UBL simister does not work. There may be a failure or breakdown of the controller.
E21 The washing machine's electric motor is blocked. There is no response from the tachogenerator.
  • The electric motor or tachogenerator has failed.
  • There is no connection from the motor to the controller.
E22 The engine runs despite the fact that it has not been given a command to run. Probably the electric motor's thyristor short-circuited.
E31 The temperature sensor shorted out There is a short circuit in the temperature sensor or its wiring.
E32 The temperature sensor circuit is broken There is probably a break in the temperature sensor circuit.
E42 The wash cycle is finished, but the washing machine door lock won't release. More than 3 minutes have passed. This malfunction may occur due to a broken hatch lock, a stuck door, or a controller failure.
E52 Malfunction of the machine's energy-dependent memory. The failure occurred due to a data failure or a breakdown of the controller's volatile memory circuit (the controller or EEPROM circuit needs to be replaced).

Errors of RA model cars

Code Causes of the malfunction and what happens next Why did the error occur?
E01 The door locking device (HLD) isn't working. After a few seconds, the message "E01" appears. The washing process stops.
  • The hatch lock broke.
  • The integrity of the washing machine wiring has been damaged.
  • The controller is out of order.
  • The voltage in the electrical network does not exceed 180 volts.
The limit switch doesn't work. After ten seconds, the display shows "E01." The wash cycle stops.
  • The washing machine door is not locked or not locked completely.
  • Wiring fault.
  • The UBL or the lock limit switch is out of order.
E02 Three minutes after the command to fill the washing machine's tank with water, there is no message indicating that the water has reached the required level. Seven minutes after the command to fill, the washing process stops.
  • The water in the water pipe is turned off or the pressure is weak.
  • Controller failure.
  • The integrity of the wiring is damaged.
  • The fill valve is out of order.
  • Level sensor (level relay) failure.
E03 Three minutes after the command to drain the washing machine was sent, the level sensor did not indicate that the water had been drained from the tank. The door lock keeps the door closed until the machine is turned off.
  • Clogged drain hose or pipes.
  • Controller failure.
  • The level sensor is out of order.
  • The filling pump has become unusable.
  • The wiring is broken.
E04 The level sensor indicates that the drum is full of water. The washing process stops, and the drain pump starts. After two minutes, when all the water has been drained, the drain pump stops. The door lock keeps the door closed until the washing machine is turned off.
  • The controller might be faulty.
  • During the washing process, the pressure in the water pipe suddenly increased significantly.
  • Hydrostat failure.
  • A defect has occurred in the filler valves.
  • The wiring is faulty.
E05 The temperature sensor has shorted out or there's an open circuit. After a few seconds, a message will appear indicating an error. The wash cycle will continue to run, but with cold water.
  • The temperature sensor is faulty.
  • Violation of the integrity of the wiring.
  • Controller failure.
-||- The water temperature in the washing machine has dropped below four degrees. An error message appears on the display. The wash cycle continues with cold water.
  • Heating element malfunction.
  • The voltage in the electrical network is too low (less than 180 volts).
  • The wiring is broken.
-||- The water in the machine did not reach the required temperature within the set time. An error message is displayed. However, the wash cycle continues to complete.
  • Problems with the heating element.
  • Or low voltage in the electrical network.
E06 Not applicable Not applicable
E07 The tachogenerator doesn't indicate that the washing machine's motor is running during the wash cycle. The motor restarts three times. If it fails to restart, the wash cycle stops and an error message appears on the display.
  • Tachogenerator failure (most often, a coil break occurs).
  • The controller is out of order.
  • The electric motor broke down.
  • Wiring fault.
E08 During the spin cycle, there's no message from the tachogenerator. The electric motor then shuts off. Then, the motor restarts three times. If, despite this, it still doesn't start, an error message appears.
  • The tachogenerator is broken.
  • The engine failed.
  • Wiring fault.
  • Controller failure.
E09 Not applicable Absent
