German-made washing machines – quality and reliability!

Washing machines made in GermanyWithout a washing machine, modern people are time-poor. Hand washing takes up a lot of your time. That's why it's essential to invest in a washing machine.

You can find what you need in home appliance stores. For example, German-made washing machines are an excellent choice. Today, there's a huge selection of washing machines, varying in price, features, washing and drying methods, and many other features. Therefore, it's crucial to choose a good, high-quality unit that will last for many years without breakdowns or problems.

German washing machines, produced by top German manufacturers, have earned a positive reputation worldwide. These well-known brands include Bosch, Siemens, AEG, and Electrolux. Today, they are considered among the best in the world.

German washing machines are quite expensive units, manufacturers classify them as belonging to the mid-to-high price categories, explaining this by the very high characteristics and quality of these washing units.

Bosch and Siemens, manufacturers of high-quality washing machines, belong to the mid-price category.

The leader in the production of such equipment in Germany is the manufacturer Kuppersbusch. It produces expensive equipment, which, due to its high prices, is not very popular in Russia.

Advantages of German washing machines

BOSCH logoGerman meticulousness in the assembly of household appliances is combined with the most advanced technologies and is rated with the highest class (Class A) of energy efficiency, an expanded menu, and a range of additional functions - this ensures the smooth operation of washing machines for a long time - from 7 to 15 years.

Washing machines assembled in Germany offer a wide variety of wash programs, easily handling all types of fabrics.

Washing machines made in Germany are quite popular in our country. However, their high price significantly influences the number of German-made units purchased by our compatriots. However, if you've decided to buy a washing machine assembled in Germany, it's important to make the right choice. Specifically, choose the model that suits your needs.

There's a serious problem with well-known brands: they're constantly being counterfeited. Naturally, home appliance manufacturers strive to protect their products from this phenomenon. Therefore, when choosing a quality brand-name washing machine, it's important to choose wisely.

We recommend purchasing a washing machine made in Germany. For example, let's take Bosch und Siemens, a German appliance manufacturer whose models are quite popular in our country.

How to spot a fake?

Washing machine storeFirst of all, you need to pay special attention to the cost of such a machine. This type of equipment, under the Bosch brand, which will cost, say, $100–$180, is unlikely to have been assembled in Germany. Genuine German devices will cost at least $300–$350.

Write down the model and serial number of your chosen machine and look up the information you need on the manufacturer's website. Using this website, you can accurately determine whether the machine is genuine or a cheap knockoff of a famous German brand based on the model number.

Before purchasing, carefully inspect the store or location where this unit is sold. Branded, high-quality items are marketed as essentials for a luxurious lifestyle. Therefore, they will be sold in reputable stores with a suitable interior and polite, qualified sales staff.

When a product is legally imported from abroad, the warranty card and the main instructions will be high-quality and in Russian. All legal imports of such equipment from abroad are required to be certified. However, the certificate can also be forged. Here, it's also important to be diligent and conduct the necessary verification. The absence of a special brand stamp on the unit's packaging is a significant indicator of counterfeiting.

    AEG Electrolux—German? I thought they were Swedish…

    • Gravatar David David:

Aeg is German, Electrolux is Swedish.

      • Gravatar Alexey Alexey:

And where they're made, you have to look at each one individually. Electrolux is a Swedish company, but they have factories all over the place. Mine was made in France. My wife's parents bought an AEG, and it turned out to be a complete clone of our machine, just with its own knobs and logo. It was made right there, in France.

        • Gravatar Elena Elena:

Aeg front-loading washing machines are manufactured in Poland, and top-loading ones in France.

Electrolux and Zanussi (subsidiary) - 100% interchangeability, with AEG - 90% with both.

  2. Gravatar Alexander Alexander:

On the contrary, all AEG vertical dryers are now assembled in Poland (I searched for French assembly and checked all models), while front-facing dryers may be French (I haven't checked all models). And AEG's German origins are now highly relative, as the company now belongs to the Electrolux concern.

    • Gravatar Painkiller Painkiller:

For ten years now, the Electrolux Group (AEG, Electrolux, Zanussi) has been producing front-loading and top-loading dishwashers in its largest industrial park in Poland. Previously, all front-loading dishwashers were manufactured at the Rex-Zanussi plant in Italy. And their toploading dishwashers—they were outsourced, depending on the brand, to two Brandt factories in France and Poland.

I'm shocked, my original BOSCH and SIEMENS are breaking down! The dishwasher isn't filling (even the engineers don't know why), and the washing machine isn't draining completely during the spin cycle. All the appliances are original and premium!

    • Gravatar Victor Victor:

Well, the fact that it's not draining completely doesn't necessarily mean it's broken. Most likely, the filter, hose, or pipe is clogged.

    • Gravatar Alla Alla:

Our dishwasher also wouldn't fill with water when we started the cycle. We had to replace the pump.

I don't trust anyone! I bought my dad a Bosch electric planer. A Pro, expensive one, at an official tool store. Out of several, about five of them, the sole was crooked. I gave up and bought a Makita for half the price, no problem. I used to trust them, but now I won't set foot in them again!
