Reviews of ultrasonic washing machines

ultrasonic washing machineUltrasonic washing machines are currently being heavily hyped, and there's probably no consumer in Russia who isn't familiar with this "miracle." Consumers will tell us how good these machines really are. We've decided to present consumer reviews of the most popular ultrasonic washing machines in this article.

Retona 0707

Irina Belkina

Purchase date: March 8, 2014.

Advantages: none found.

Retona 0707Disadvantages: There is no point in talking about them, since the device does not wash anything.

I want to warn people against buying the Retona 0707. It's advertised as an ultrasonic washing machine, but it doesn't actually wash anything. It makes no difference whether I just put my clothes in a basin of detergent or in a basin with a Retona washing machine. Remember, the Retona isn't a washing machine; it's a scam for gullible old ladies. The ad claims it saves water, detergent, and your time, but it washes clothes superbly. I have to ask the advertisers: where is all this? Or is this not the washing machine they're talking about? I give this device a solid 1.

Alevtina Ermakova

Date of purchase: April 2013.

Advantages: low price.

Disadvantages: does not wash well, takes a long time to wash, you need to rinse and wring out by hand.

It’s not clear why I paid $20 for this toy; I would have paid another $10 and bought a Fairy with a centrifuge like my neighbor’s. I decided to save money, listened to the scammer, and he was happy to sell me this "voucher." Now what am I supposed to do? I'm left without money and without a washing machine. I should have gone straight to the store and returned the money, but there's no point in crying now. Now I'm washing by hand, just like before—cheap and cheerful.

Retona 0708

Victoria Ivanova

Date of purchase: May 2012.

Advantages: I didn’t find any.

Disadvantages: many.

Retona 0708When my husband brought this device home, I initially thought it was a shoe dryer. It better have been, because it turned out to be a Retona ultrasonic washing machine. It turns out a distributor had visited my husband at work and slapped this device on my husband. I'd heard a lot about similar washing machines before, and the reviews were mostly negative, but I decided to wash my underwear in this machine. I filled a basin with water, added some detergent, soaked the clothes, and then, as instructed, lowered the Retona washing machine into it.

And what's the result? I found that the clothes washed just as well as they would with a regular soak. I can’t say that the Retona machine is 100% ineffective, but I can’t say anything good about it either. I suspect the effect of these ultrasonic waves is so negligible that the difference between a regular soak and a Retona washing machine is imperceptible to the naked eye. I give the device a two-star rating.

Ksenia Selivanova

Date of purchase: August 2014

Pros: washes well.

Disadvantages: I didn’t find any.

A friend gave me this device for my birthday. I read about it online and was horrified by how many people criticized ultrasonic washing machines, but I decided to be kind to my friend and tried washing my husband's shirts using the ultrasonic system. I followed the instructions: placed the items in a basin, filled it with the correct amount of water, added detergent (just a little, not the usual amount), and put the machine in with the clothes. After 40 minutes, the stains were gone. Now I often use the Retona alternating with a regular semi-automatic washing machine, and I like it. I give the Retona ultrasonic device a 5.

Cinderella BiOSE

Zinaida Sergeeva

Date of purchase: May 2010.

Advantages: washes well, can be taken to the country in your pocket.

Disadvantages: I didn’t find any.

What is an ultrasonic washing machine?Cinderella BiOSE I've known about this for a long time. I've been recommending these devices to everyone for about six years now. Of course, I don't use the Cinderella washing machine at home—I have a regular machine—but at the dacha, I use this "miraculous helper" every time. You can't take a big washing machine to the dacha; I simply don't have the equipment to do it, but the Cinderella can be put in your pocket and taken to the bus stop. I give my Cinderella a 5.

Alexander Kharitonov

Date of purchase: June 2013.

Pros: price, good wash.

Disadvantages: I didn’t find any.

It just so happens that I literally live on business trips. Out of six workdays, I spend four on the road. I have to adapt and organize my daily life on the road. That's why I fell in love with the Cinderella ultrasonic washing machine; you can use it practically in the field without any problems. I recently bought myself a similar device for my home. My wife washed her bed linen and guess what, everything came out perfectly. My rating is definitely 5.

To summarize, many people say ultrasonic washing machines are nothing more than a scam, but there are also many who like them. Perhaps the problem is that not everyone can use them correctly, or perhaps it's all just subjective. In any case, the decision is yours!

My mother is 84 years old. I'm saying this so that no one questions her authority on the cleanliness of linens and clothes washed with Reton. So, around 2004 or 2003, I saw a Reton ad on TV and bought it for my mother. Even though she used an automatic washing machine, she pre-soaked her bedding to save energy. I suggested she pre-soak her bedding with Reton. Subsequently, she completely abandoned the automatic washing cycle and uses only the rinse and spin cycles. Items requiring gentle washing (white shirts, woolen items) and complex items (suits, cardigans) are washed only with Reton.
Let me add a fly in the ointment: Our new Retona washing machine broke down within 5-10 minutes of first use. After complaining over the phone and incurring postage costs for a return and replacement with one we'd been using for over ten (10) years, we remained committed to this washing method. Economical and high-quality—that's what my mother says, and I agree! I emphasize again: choose the older model and you'll be happy!
P.S. My mother already has three ultrasonic washing machines and only one automatic.

      Three for what?

It's a great product. We've been using it for over 10 years. It's not a regular use, though, as it takes longer to wash. And it's not suitable for large loads. But it's perfect for individual loads. Pros: no rubbing required, it breaks dirt from deep within the fibers, removes even stubborn stains, and the dirt doesn't distort the garments.
You have to rinse it thoroughly because it removes so much dirt. We're very happy. I want to give my daughter one too.

Holy Rus' is famous among the peoples of the world for its scam.
This is no longer the USSR.
In terms of the level of crap, it will give the Americans a run for their money.
All the capsules in this piece of junk are plastic, and ultrasound transmits very poorly through plastic. Only relatively low-frequency sound waves penetrate, but they have no effect.
They should at least make sealed washers out of thin stainless steel and glue the resonators to them. But no, this Russian manufacturer is a genius!

  4. Gravatar Tamara Tamara:

I have two of them (Ultraton and Retona), and both are broken. Repairs aren't available in Chita. All I can do is throw them away...
