a regular minus screwdriver, as well as a hex screwdriver;
a drill or a screwdriver that can accommodate a 20 mm drill bit;

Avoid buying third-party corrugated drain hoses, as their folds often accumulate dirt particles. It's best to use genuine dishwasher parts and components provided by the appliance manufacturer.
Avoid kinks, excessive tension, or compression of the hoses.
Do not shorten the inlet hose, as this component in the Miele dishwasher contains a live electrical cable. Its damage can be extremely dangerous not only for the “home helper”, but also for you.
