Turning on and starting the Biryusa washing machine

Turning on and starting the Biryusa washing machineEven with a modern washing machine, simply pressing two buttons isn't enough to start a wash cycle. First, you need to gather the dirty laundry and thoroughly prepare your "home helper" for the cycle. Only then can you turn on the Biryusa washing machine and start washing. That's why it's best not to rush into washing with a new appliance, but rather carefully study the official instructions and expert recommendations first.

We put the equipment into action

Don't rush to start the wash cycle; first, make sure the machine is running and ready for the cycle. To do this, make sure that the water supply tap is open and the household appliances are connected to the water supply, sewerage system, and electricity. If the plumbing is working properly, you should begin sorting the laundry and loading it into the drum. Then, close the door tightly until you hear a distinctive click.

Next, you need to add the necessary household chemicals to the detergent dispenser. This could be laundry detergent or gel, as well as fabric softener. The detergent dispenser typically has three compartments:

  • The compartment marked with the Roman numeral "I" is for pre-wash. This compartment is rarely used, as pre-washing is only available in a limited number of washing machine modes.Biryusa washing machine tray
  • The compartment with the Roman numeral "II" is for the main wash, so this is where you should add powder or gel.
  • The compartment with the flower icon is for the air conditioner.

Once the detergent is in the dispenser, turn on the Biryusa washing machine using the power button. Then, select the cycle, which is easy thanks to the labels on the program selector. For a more detailed explanation of how to wash on each program, carefully read the next section of the article, where we describe the basic cycles.Biryusa washing machine panel

Once the mode is selected, you'll need to adjust the wash parameters—temperature and spin speed—and then press the "Start/Pause" button, which activates the washing machine. At this point, the machine is ready for washing, so you can leave it alone for a while.

Depending on the selected duration, in half an hour or several hours, the household appliance will fill with water, wash dirty items, rinse them, wring them out, and also remove residual moisture by draining it into the sewer.

There's no need to monitor the machine's operation unless it's a test run, during which you need to check the machine's functionality and ensure it's properly connected to all utilities. However, even if the power goes out in your home, the washing machine will still perform perfectly—as soon as the power comes back on, it will resume the selected program from where it left off. Finally, if you suddenly need to urgently stop the cycle and open the drum, you need to use the “Start/Pause” button.

Let's get acquainted with the programs

Modern washing machines have over a dozen different modes, so it's not always easy to understand how each one works. Carefully review the list of key programs to know how to start the wash cycle correctly.

  • Intensive. Features increased duration and intensity, helping tackle the dirtiest items.
  • Cotton. A special program for cleaning everyday clothing and bedding, characterized by a relatively long and intensive cleaning time.
  • Fast. A special mode for accelerated cleaning of lightly soiled everyday items at low temperatures.
  • Synthetics. A cycle with reduced intensity and duration compared to the cotton cycle. Suitable for cleaning synthetic and delicate fabrics. Also suitable for curtains and lace items.

The synthetics program is also suitable for knitted items, but it is recommended to clean them with a small amount of household chemicals to avoid accidental damage or deformation.

  • Wool. A separate cycle for machine-washable wool and wool-blend items. Before using the machine, carefully read the garment labels for complete washing instructions.
  • Delicate. The opposite of the intensive cycle, it features a low wash intensity and low drum speed to avoid damaging delicate items.Biryusa sewing machine programs
  • Eco-friendly. It cycles at a temperature of 40 or 60 degrees Celsius, depending on your preference, and boasts a long cycle time and low energy consumption. Suitable for cleaning lightly soiled synthetics, whites, and even colorfast cotton.
  • Bulky Items. A special cycle for large items, such as warm blankets, duvet covers, winter jackets, coats, and more. It runs at 40 degrees Celsius and requires the clothes to be evenly distributed in the drum beforehand.
  • Jeans. Cleans denim clothing at 60 degrees Celsius. Turn the garment inside out first. Also, for this type of fabric, it's best to use liquid gels and capsules instead of laundry detergent, which is difficult to rinse out.
  • Baby. An effective cycle at 60 degrees Celsius for treating baby items, diapers, and clothing for people with allergies.
  • Sports. This program is designed for sportswear and shoes, which are cleaned at 40 degrees Celsius. The manufacturer recommends washing no more than two pairs of shoes per cycle.
  • Finish in. A special program for cleaning mixed items with medium soiling at 40 degrees Celsius. The user can choose from several finish time options, and the program duration itself can be found in the official manual.
  • Pre-wash. This option is best used for treating items with stubborn stains and ingrained dirt that cannot be removed with a standard wash.
  • Extra Rinse. A useful option to run an additional rinse cycle to thoroughly remove all household chemicals from clothes. This feature is ideal for combining with the baby and bulky items cycles.
  • Mixed fabrics. Suitable for laundry that has not been sorted by material type and is moderately soiled. Wash at 40 degrees Celsius.
  • Drum cleaning. Finally, a special cycle cleans and sterilizes the drum at high temperatures to remove all possible contaminants. Add a few household chemicals for more effective cleaning.

Despite the high intensity of the cycle, it cannot be used to clean clothes, as it may damage the items.

These are far from all the modes available in modern Biryusa washing machines, but these are the basic programs that may be needed in everyday life.
