Turning on and washing in the DEXP washing machine
Each washing machine model has its own unique features. However, someone who has previously used another brand's washing machine will be able to operate a DEXP washing machine without any difficulty. A novice simply needs to carefully read the instructions and understand how the machine operates.
We'll explain how to turn on the machine and select the desired mode. What household chemicals are best for washing machines? Let's explore the washing programs available in DEXP machines.
We try washing for the first time
First, connect the new washing machine to the water supply and sewer line, level it, and remove the shipping bolts from the drum. Next, run a test cycle without any laundry in the drum. This empty wash is necessary to check the machine's operation, ensure all components are working properly, and clean the internal parts of any dirt or oils.
We won't dwell on the washing machine installation process, but we'll explain how to activate the wash cycle with laundry in the drum. Beginners are often confused by the numerous labels and buttons on the DEXP control panel. Before using the washing machine for the first time, read the instructions for the equipment – it will help you understand the functions and capabilities of the washing machine.
Each washing machine's control panel is unique, so it's best to understand in advance what the symbols on the dashboard mean and what the corresponding buttons do.
Let's take a step-by-step look at how to start a DEXP washing machine:
- plug the washing machine into the power outlet;
- open the shut-off valve at the inlet to the washing machine;

- Place a load of laundry into the drum (check the pockets of each item before loading);

- close the drum door;
- add detergents to the dispenser: washing powder or gel, fabric softener;

- Use the programmer to select the appropriate washing mode (depending on the type of items loaded into the drum), for example, “Cotton” or “Synthetics”;
- press the "Start/Pause" button to start the cycle
.
As you can see, starting a wash cycle on the DEXP machine is very simple. The cycle duration will depend on the selected program. When you hear the beep indicating the end of the cycle, don't rush to open the door. The door will unlock only after a couple of minutes.
Programs stored in the intelligent memory can be further customized. For example, you can adjust the water temperature and spin speed, or activate additional steps such as soaking or rinsing. Over time, you'll develop an understanding of which mode is best for a given situation to achieve maximum results.
About laundry detergent
To ensure that clothes are washed properly, detergent must be added to the machine. You can use powder, gel, capsules or washing wipes. The method of use is indicated on the packaging: if the granules are poured into a dispenser, then the tablets are placed directly in the drum, under the laundry.
The amount of detergent to add depends on the severity of the stain and the fullness of the machine load. It's important to use the correct dosage. Adding too much detergent will create too much foam, which is harmful to the washing machine. Adding too little detergent may result in clothes not being washed properly.
The dispenser of DEXP automatic washing machines has three compartments: for main wash, rinse, and soak.
The main detergent is added to the left compartment of the dispenser. Pre-wash (if needed) is added to the right compartment. Fabric softener is added to the center compartment. These simple instructions apply to all DEXP models.
A set of programs and functions
The software in DEXP washing machines may vary slightly depending on the model. However, all machines of this brand have standard modes. A description of the algorithms is included in the washing machine's instructions, so be sure to read the user manual.
Why is choosing the right program so important? Firstly, it will prevent damage to your clothes. Secondly, it will help you achieve the best washing results. Let's take a look at the different programs available in DEXP washing machines.
- Cotton. A standard cycle designed for washing cotton and linen garments. The temperature can be adjusted from 20°C to 95°C.
- Cotton Eco. The only difference from the previous program is that it washes with maximum water and kilowatt savings.
- Silk/Delicate Wash. A gentle cycle for cleaning delicate fabrics. This cycle is recommended for blouses, satin shirts, dresses, and other items made from delicate materials.
- Blanket. This program is suitable for washing bulky, heavy items with filling, such as various bedding items, down jackets, etc.
- Sportswear. A special cycle for washing items made of biflex, nylon, and other synthetic fabrics used in uniforms. This cycle also allows for spinning sneakers, trainers, and ballet shoes.
- Dark Fabrics. A separate cycle for washing black, brown, gray, and blue cotton or synthetic items.
- Children's clothes. This program features: steam treatment of linens to combat allergens and bacteria, and an additional rinse to completely remove detergent from clothes. Water temperatures are 40, 60, or 95 degrees.

- Synthetics. This cycle removes stains from synthetic and mixed fabrics. Temperature range: 20°C to 60°C.
- Hypoallergenic. This program is designed for washing clothes for people with allergies. An additional rinse cycle is activated, allowing detergent to be completely removed from the fabric fibers. Clothes are also steam-treated.
- Wool. Another delicate program. This algorithm is designed specifically for washing woolen garments. Since these items are prone to shrinkage, the spin cycle is performed at the lowest speed.
- Express 15. This cycle is for lightly soiled items. Clothes are tumbled in the drum for 15 minutes.
- Mixed Fabrics. A versatile program that can be used to wash both natural and synthetic items.
- Drum cleaning. The cycle starts without laundry but with detergent. During the cycle, all dirt and bacterial residue is washed out of the washing machine.
If necessary, the user can adjust the settings of the selected program. For example, they can reduce the spin speed or disable this function entirely. The water heating temperature can be adjusted (within acceptable limits).
