Turning on and starting the Hisense washing machine
After purchasing a new "home assistant," users are eager to turn on their Hisense washing machine and try it out as soon as possible. However, there's no need to rush. Before starting a wash, it's important to read the instructions and understand the available programs and features. We'll explain how the machine works and what features modern Hisense washing machines offer.
We force the machine to wash
The first thing you need to do is connect the machine to the water supply and sewerage system. All the details of installing the washing machine and connecting it to utilities are described in the equipment instructions. Be sure to read the user manual before using your Hisense washing machine for the first time.
Before starting the cycle, sort your laundry. Colored and light-colored items should be washed separately. Also, pay attention to the fabric type and degree of soiling. This is necessary to select the correct washing cycle.
After loading your laundry, don't rush to start the cycle. First, make sure the machine is ready for washing. Check that the water supply is open and the drain hose is not kinked. Next, plug the washing machine's power cord into a power outlet and close the door until it clicks into place.
The next step is loading household chemicals into the detergent drawer. This could be laundry detergent, stain remover, or fabric softener. The detergent drawer in Hisense washing machines has three compartments:
- the first compartment, marked with the Roman numeral “I”, is intended for the detergent used in the pre-wash process (soaking is provided for only by a few washing machine modes);
- The detergent in the compartment marked "II" is used during the main wash. This is the largest section of the drawer; powder or gel is added here;
- The tray with the flower symbol is for the conditioner (the product is washed out of the compartment during the rinsing stage).
After loading the detergent into the detergent drawer, close the drawer and turn on the Hisense washing machine using the power button. The washing machine will emit a distinctive sound and the LEDs on the control panel will light up. You can then select the desired wash cycle using the program selector.
When selecting some programs, you can adjust the cycle settings - change the temperature, spin intensity and number of rinses.
Once you've selected the desired mode, you can start the wash. To activate the cycle, press the "Start/Pause" button. After that, you can leave the machine alone—it'll do most of the work itself.
You should only monitor the washing machine during the first, test run. This cycle is performed empty, meaning without any laundry in the drum. If the cycle runs smoothly, without any leaks or malfunctions, you can safely leave the machine unattended.
If the power goes out in the apartment, the washing machine will resume the cycle from where it left off as soon as the power returns. If the machine detects an internal malfunction during operation, it will pause the cycle and notify the user with an error code.
In principle, washing clothes with a Hisense washing machine is straightforward. Sort the laundry and add detergent to the appropriate compartment. A very important detail is the choice of washing program; it must correspond to the type of items loaded into the drum. What intelligent modes are there in modern Hisense TVs?
Set of washing programs
A description of the washing modes programmed into the memory of a specific Hisense model is provided in the user manual. It explains the temperature of the water and the spin speed. It's important to read the instructions for your machine.
The range of washing modes will vary depending on the Hisense washing machine model.
As an example, we will tell you what modes the Hisense WFVB7012M washing machine has.
- Anti-allergy with steam. This mode allows you to control the washing temperature (40 or 60°C). When selecting this mode, the drum load should not exceed 30% of the capacity. Spinning can be performed at either maximum or minimum speed. Suitable for heat-resistant and fade-resistant fabrics. This treatment removes pollen, mites, parasites, and other allergens from the fibers.
- Baby clothes. Standard mode, which sterilizes and disinfects items. Depending on the degree of soiling, you can set the washing temperature to 40, 60, or 95 degrees Celsius. Spinning is performed at maximum by default, but the user can reduce the speed if necessary.
- Dark items. Easy-care program. Water temperature can be adjusted from 20 to 60 degrees. A half-load is acceptable. Items are spun at 1200 rpm (the speed can be reduced if needed).
- Sportswear. Wash in either cold water or at 40°C. This cycle is suitable for fitness clothing and activewear made of microfiber. The default spin speed is maximum.
- Down items. This cycle is designed for items with down filling. These include jackets, pillows, blankets, toys, etc. The default temperature is 40°C, but can be lowered to 20°C. Spin at the lowest speed.

- Silk/Delicates. This program is designed for delicate fabrics that require special, gentle care (satin, silk, lace). Wash in cool water with a low spin speed.
- Cotton. This is a standard cycle available on every Hisense model. It's suitable for washing knitwear, linen, and cotton. The user can select any cycle temperature: 20°C, 40°C, 60°C, or 95°C, depending on the soil level of the garment. A "Soak" cycle can be enabled. The cycle duration will depend on the settings.
- Colored Cotton. This program is for lightly to normally soiled items. The user can select a wash temperature (from 20°C to 60°C), so please follow the instructions on the garment label. The spin speed can also be adjusted from minimum to maximum.
- Synthetics. Suitable for moderately soiled synthetic and blended fabrics. The default wash temperature is 40°C, but can be reduced to 20°C or increased to 60°C. Drum load: half full.
- Mixed fabrics. Wash at 40 degrees Celsius. This cycle can be used to wash both cotton and synthetics with a moderate degree of soiling.
- Wool. This program is designed for machine-washable wool items (check the garment label for instructions).
- Quick 15. A short cycle designed to refresh clothes. By default, the water is heated to 40°C, and the spin speed is 800 rpm.
The correct washing program selection will determine the washing results and the safety of your laundry. Therefore, it's crucial to select the appropriate cycle for the fabric type and degree of soiling.

Hello, I have a Hisense WD3S8042BW1 washer-dryer. We set the wash and dry cycle for 60 minutes, but the temperature won't adjust (the snowflake light is on), meaning it washes in cold water.
