How long does it take to wash in an Ardo washing machine?

Ardo appliances offer not only practicality and affordability, but also high-quality washing results. To fully utilize the capabilities of Ardo washing machines, you need to know how to select the correct mode when starting the machine. Let's find out what wash time is programmed for each cycle.

Duration and other characteristics of the main programs

The number of Ardo programs varies depending on the specific model. However, the operating principle and symbols are the same for all models. The program selector is located on the control panel, surrounded by icons for the washing modes.

1. Cotton – the symbol looks like a cotton boll or flower. Temperature ranges from regular cold water to 90°C. Washing time ranges from 2 hours 25 minutes to 2 hours 50 minutes, depending on the temperature. Suitable for washing cotton fabrics, both white and colored. The spin speed is user-selectable.
2. Synthetic and blended materials (flask). Cycle duration: 127 min. Maximum temperature: 60°C.

Important! For gentle, hygienic cleaning of cotton and synthetic items, use the Hygiene program.

3. Wool (yarn ball). This wool wash cycle for the Ardo washing machine is certified by Woolmark. It provides gentle cleaning in 56 minutes.
4. Express 20. As the name suggests, the cycle lasts 20 minutes and the temperature is 20°C. This is great for quickly refreshing items that have been stored in the closet for a long time.
5. Quick. The wash cycle lasts 35 minutes, and the maximum temperature is 35 degrees Celsius. This program is designed for lightly soiled clothes made from various materials.
6. The icon depicting a hand lowered into the pelvis indicates manual mode. For wardrobe items that are labeled for hand washingClothes are washed at 30 °C for 100 minutes.

There are also short, daily cycles. The T-shirt cycle is for items that require regular cleaning (up to 40°C, with minimal energy and water consumption). The shirt cycle significantly increases the amount of water and uses minimal spinning, resulting in virtually wrinkle-free fabrics. A special sports cycle is used for sportswear, preserving its shape, and the JEANS cycle is for jeans. The JEANS cycle provides a 70-minute wash and protects the fabric from fading. The cycle operates at 40°C.

Auxiliary algorithms

In addition to selecting basic programs, the Ardo washing machine offers additional laundry care features. This allows for superior cleaning results. You can also adjust the wash time and spin speed. Let's take a look at some of Ardo's helpful options.

• Prewash/Soak. Can be used on the Synthetics, Cotton, and Daily cycles. Essential for removing tough and heavy stains. The powder must be poured into two compartments at once: for the main stage and for soaking.
• Extra rinse. If you accidentally add too much detergent, this feature will come in handy. It's also a great option for families with small children, people with allergies, and those with sensitive skin.
• Easy ironing. The Ardo washing machine adjusts the cycle parameters to ensure laundry is less wrinkled and easier to iron after use. To achieve this, the machine reduces the spin speed to 500 RPM and gently oscillates the drum.
• Drying. This option is only available on select latest-generation models. It can be activated either automatically (on the Synthetics and Cotton cycles) or manually. The user sets the drying time based on the desired result.

Important! If your laundry is still too wet after the cycle, you can turn on the spin cycle by setting the desired speed.

• Intensive wash. Activated on the Synthetics and Cotton programs. For better cleaning results, the wash time is extended.
• Cleaning system. Removes unpleasant odors, mold, and bacteria from the drum. It also cleans the machine's rubber seal.

All additional function buttons are typically located at the bottom of the display. The cycle times listed above vary depending on the appliance model. The set temperature also affects the program duration and whether additional functions are enabled.
