How long does it take to wash clothes in a Kandy washing machine?

An observant user may notice that the duration of different Candy washing machine programs depends on the settings made before starting the machine. However, it's possible to calculate the approximate washing time if you know a few tricks. Let's look at how.

Duration of the main programs

All Candy washing machines, like those from other reputable manufacturers, have programs that users use most often. There are also additional modes that are set manually rather than automatically. Let's start with the basic washing programs.

1. Durable Fabrics. This popular cycle is used for cleaning clothing and other items made from materials such as linen and cotton. These fabrics are resistant to high temperatures and spinning. Bedding, primarily white, is washed at 90 degrees Celsius. A 3.5 kg load will run for 2 hours and 20 minutes.
2. Colored cotton and other blended fabrics. The machine washes at 60 degrees Celsius, with a load of up to 4 kg, and a full cycle takes 1 hour and 40 minutes.
3. Delicate cycle. You'll notice a feather icon on the Candy washing machine's control panel. This indicates a program for washing the most delicate fabrics at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius. Load a maximum of 2 kg of clothing into the drum, and the wash time is up to 2 hours.
4. Express 14. This is the fastest wash, which lasts 14-17 minutes. The clothes won't be washed free of stains and other dirt, but they will simply become fresher.The water is heated to no more than 30 degrees.
5. Quick 30. The machine is loaded no more than ⅔ full and runs for half an hour at a temperature of 30 degrees.
6. Quick wash at 40 degrees. This program is unlike express modes because it cleans clothes thoroughly in a short period of time. The drum is half-loaded, and the wash time is about an hour.

There's also a special EcoMix mode for washing in cold water. This program may be useful in special situations when you need to remove specific stains, such as blood. The wash cycle lasts 45 minutes.

Additional modes

The wash time with auxiliary modes enabled isn't as important, but they're worth considering. Typically, Candy machines take between 5 and 20 minutes to complete the additional steps. Let's take a closer look at them.

• Rinse. This program can be activated independently of the main modes. The machine rinses the detergent from the laundry, after which the wastewater is discharged into the sewer. Laundry detergent is not used in this process, but if desired, the user can add fabric softener to the designated dispenser before starting the machine.
• Quick spin. First, the pump activates, drawing water out of the drum. Then, the drum begins to spin rapidly to dry the laundry. The user controls the spin speed. The process lasts approximately 15 minutes.

If you need to quickly remove liquid from the tank, you can use the quick drain function. The device doesn't care what kind of water it contains, whether it's used soap or clean liquid.

Important! When the quick drain is activated, the pump completely drains the tank within 2-3 minutes.

Zoom function

Unfortunately, the link to the forum didn't work, but I still have questions. For example, regarding the Cotton + Pre-Soak cycle—how long does the soak last? Does the machine drain water when it switches to the main wash? If I pour gel detergent into compartment 2 for detergent, add bleach, and water softener—won't it all melt into an insoluble lump at 60 degrees? And if so, when should I add the detergent for the main wash?
