Built-in dishwasher reviews

reviews of built-in dishwashersNarrow, 45 cm wide built-in dishwashers are the most popular among dishwasher owners. These appliances offer numerous advantages: they're spacious, don't take up much kitchen space, and wash dishes flawlessly. Advertisers constantly tell us all this. But what's the reality? How popular are narrow 45 cm dishwashers? Let's find out firsthand from consumers who own these machines.

Gorenje GV51211

In my opinion, this dishwasher is atrocious; I constantly regret buying this piece of hardware. It happened like this: I finally saved up for a new kitchen, ordered it, and thought through every last detail, down to the last centimeter, but as they say, "I missed the elephant." I should have chosen a decent brand, but I went for the 45 cm size. As it turned out, other manufacturers also offer narrow dishwashers, and their quality is much higher. Here are the drawbacks I found in the Gorenje GV51211 dishwasher:

  • The powder container is very difficult to open, the lid constantly gets stuck and jammed;
  • The plastic is apparently of low quality, as soon as the machine heats up during operation, if you select the 60 wash program 0C, and it starts to smell terribly, almost a year has passed, and the smell is still there;Gorenje GV51211
  • Even if you use expensive powder and rinse aid, after washing in this machine, strange white marks still remain on the dishes, and you have to repeat the rinse cycle;
  • The dishwasher won't clean very greasy plates.I tried to arrange them differently, both in the upper and lower baskets, and according to the instructions and without them, but the result was still bad.

Now I'm telling all my friends and acquaintances not to buy the Gorenje GV51211 dishwasher. I've never seen a worse appliance; it's better to wash dishes by hand.

This dishwasher is 45 cm narrow and fits nine place settings, which is more than enough for me alone, so I never even considered a 60 cm wide machine. The noise is annoying, so I'm taking one point off for that alone; the manufacturer could have done a better job with the soundproofing. At first, I couldn't use it at all—I couldn't even arrange the dishes properly or choose the right setting. Now I've gotten the hang of it, and I can arrange everything correctly and get good results. I especially enjoy washing plastic food containers – the result is perfectly clean. I find the dishwasher to be a good size (45 cm) and design, but it's difficult to use and a bit noisy. I give it a low rating of 3.5 out of 5.

Bosch SPV30E40RU

Now that's what they call "cheap and cheerful!" This is a simply wonderful built-in dishwasher, worth every penny. Using it leaves only positive emotions: loading dishes is easy, they wash surprisingly well, and I even tried using it without detergent – the results were positive. I used to have a standard 60 cm machine from Electrolux, but its cleaning quality was significantly inferior. The controls are intuitive and convenient, and the build quality is top-notch. No problems with operation for 1.5 years. I'm now writing positive reviews about it everywhere, and I'm very grateful to the manufacturer. A-plus rating.

I wasn't really picking a dishwasher; I needed one, so I bought it. My new kitchen has a 48 cm recess, so only a narrow dishwasher would fit. I walked past 60 cm dishwashers in the store, pointed to the first 45 cm one I could find, and it turned out to be a Bosch SPV30E40RU, so I picked it up. I can't say anything bad about it; I don't use it often, but it's never let me down yet.

It has a cool 29-minute wash cycle. You load the dishes, set the quick wash cycle, and voila, you have a mountain of clean dishes! This model deserves high marks.

BOSCH SPV40E40RU

My husband was the one choosing the dishwasher. He wanted one up to 45 cm wide; 60 cm wasn't an option. After reading reviews online, we settled on a Bosch. Although it's only rated for 9 place settings, it suits us just fine. My husband hooked it up, and the cabinet makers installed it. As for the dishwasher itself, I'll list all its advantages, and there are quite a few:BOSCH SPV40E40RU

  • No problems with installation.
  • Many different modes, including economical and intensive for dirty pans.
  • There is a delayed start up to 9 o'clock, but I haven't had to use it since I load the dishes in the evening and take out the clean ones in the morning.
  • I use a half load if I have few dishes, it’s very convenient and requires less detergent.
  • Convenient controls and clear instructions explain how to arrange dishes in the baskets.
  • You can stop the program or drying, report something, close the door, and the machine will continue its work on its own.
  • Convenient, volume-adjustable end-of-wash signal.
  • The dishes are washed perfectly, the main thing is to set the right mode and choose a good detergent.
  • A child will not be able to open the machine while it is working.
  • Cleaning the filters and maintaining the unit is easy.

There's one downside: the machine is noisy, but it doesn't bother anyone. So, I'm happy with the purchase. I think it's worth the money.

The initial impression after purchasing was excellent. But after the euphoria wore off, we noticed the dishes weren't cleaning properly and had an unpleasant odor. The advantage of this model is the number of programs, including a quick wash. The price is overpriced for this quality of cleaning. We had to rewash the dishes; we expected better from Bosch.

I bought a dishwasher from a well-known German brand a month ago and am very pleased. The instructions are clear and well-illustrated. I mostly use the basic program, which washes dishes at 65 degrees. Almost everything can be washed away, except for soup scale on pots and tea stains. We run the dishwasher every other day; it's enough for a family of three. I run it at night so I can get dry and clean dishes in the morning. If the detergent is good, the dishes really shine, and there's nothing to complain about. The dishwasher hasn't disappointed; I now have more time to watch TV.

This quiet and reliable built-in dishwasher from Bosch washes dishes effectively. I had no trouble installing it myself. I run the machine overnight, set it to a regular wash cycle at 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit). The end-of-cycle signal is barely audible, and I didn't find the delayed start option helpful. However, this model does have a drawback: dishes don't dry properly, leaving water on them. After some experimentation, I discovered that if I take the dishes out immediately, they're dry, but if I wait until they cool, condensation collects on them, leaving them damp.

Hansa ZIM 446 EH

So, I decided to write a review of the Hansa ZIM446EH dishwasher. I hate washing dishes by hand, so we got a built-in dishwasher right after we bought our new home. We wanted a built-in dishwasher, but it took us a long time to decide between 60 cm and 45 cm. In the end, we decided 45 cm was enough for a family of three; 60 cm was unnecessary. We chose the brand by reading reviews on Yandex Market and realized Bosch was the best, but it was also out of our budget, so we bought Hansa.

Good ones

Hansa dishwasher reviews You can see it on the Eldorado website. And I really wasn't disappointed with my purchase. The machine washes everything so clean, I couldn't do that by hand; everything just sparkles. We should erect a monument to the person who once invented the dishwasher.

Litops

After having a baby, we decided to buy a dishwasher. It's a real lifesaver. We only needed a narrow 45 cm model because our kitchen is small. The first thing we noticed was the low water consumption. The dishwasher has three baskets, but the bottom one is defective; the manufacturer clearly didn't consider that placing a tall pot on the left prevents the tablet compartment from opening. We mostly use the daily cycle, which runs for about 2.5 hours at a temperature of about 60 degrees Celsius. The short cycle doesn't rinse out the detergent well.

As for drying, it's almost as if there's no drying at all. Most of the dishes remain wet, except for the flat plates. We pile up the dishes, but it's best not to put them in the machine, as they can create an unpleasant odor. The downside of the machine is that it is very noisy, the pump even rumbles. But despite this, we are happy with the equipment, because it copes well with the task of washing dishes, and it holds quite a lot of dishes.

Ivan

A good and affordable built-in dishwasher, only 45 cm wide, albeit Chinese-made. I was initially looking for a full-size 60 cm one, but settled on this one. I liked the display and beautiful lighting. At first, the machine smelled of plastic, but now it only appears during long cycles and high temperatures. It's very noisy when draining. Also, if you put a lot of dishes in the second basket, the spoons and forks won't be washed properly. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

In conclusion, we note that reviews of built-in dishwashers are far from universally positive, but considering that people buy them in large quantities, the results are quite promising. Choose your brand and model carefully, and you won't regret it.
