The Electrolux multifunctional washing machine offers a variety of wash cycles. To avoid randomly selecting a cycle and potentially damaging your laundry, it's important to familiarize yourself with the symbols. For example, the "Delicate Wash" icon on the control panel indicates care for specific fabrics with specific parameters.

Features of the program

To maintain the shape, color, and texture of delicate fabrics such as silk, satin, synthetics, and blended fibers, proper care is required. Moreover, some items made from the most delicate materials should be washed with particular care.

Therefore, unlike other washing machine models, the Electrolux automatic washing machine offers three programs with similar functionality. Consequently, the modes have three icons corresponding to these modes.

1. "Delicate Fabrics" - image of a flower.
2. "Light Fabrics" - butterfly design.
3. "Hand wash" - a basin with a hand lowered into it.

The peculiarity of washing delicate fabrics is a lower temperature, a small drum load (from 1.5 to 2.5 kg), higher water consumption, slower drum rotation, spinning at low speeds or its complete absence.

Important! Avoid overloading delicate fabrics. A minimal load will prevent them from becoming misshapen during washing.

What parameters do the delicate wash icons on my Electrolux washing machine represent?

• “Flower” involves washing synthetic materials at a temperature of 40° for 60 minutes;
• "Butterfly" cares for delicate materials at a temperature of 30° for 40 minutes;
• “Hand wash” is turned on for 50–55 minutes at a temperature of 40°.

Delicate laundry detergents also play a role in preserving your items. For gentle care, special powders are required. Gels containing softening agents and fabric softeners are best. Detergents should be free of harsh chemicals like chlorine, bleach, and enzymes. This will help preserve the color and shape of your garments.

They should have a pleasant scent and a light texture so they can be easily rinsed out of fabrics at low temperatures without leaving streaks. The product should be labeled "Delicate Wash."

When to turn on such a program?

The Electrolux washing machine provides "any whim" for delicate washing of almost any delicate items:

• in the mode with the “Butterfly” icon, wash silk and mixed synthetic items (shirts, underwear and bed linen, curtains);
• The mode with the “Flower” icon provides the most gentle care for items made of viscose and acrylic;
• "Hand wash" allows you to care for woolen items that can only be washed by hand.
